E5 and new signal meter

Is there any possiblity that the reason for the new signal meter is to enable dish to make better/quicker adjustments when the signal drops on 129? I'm wondering if they might be expending more fuel to make more rapid adjustments. Possibly they have revised plans to replace E5 sooner. I haven't seen the picture loss since 4.41 and observing during signal drops the meter seems to dip to yellow but adjusts back up before going red (tp27). (Of course this is excluding the recent system wide outages.)

Lots of ifs and maybe just wishful speculation .....

I bet they have a little better signal meters on the downlink monitors than 622's.

LOL ... Yes, I guess so. Guess I am grasping at straws. Just hoping that something changed to improve the situation.
