eastern arc

Anyone in Western Massachusetts using the eastern arc set up(61.5 77 72.5).with the new Hd being uplinked to only 129 and 72.5 i was thinking about calling in Thursday and trying to get upgraded.but was just wondering if anyone in the area had any issues with this set up. We don't get our locals through dish in this DMA so that is not an issue(although i would have to move back home and them move again after the new install.)

If you are a DIY guy and have a clear Western horizon, you could try swinging your 61.5 over to 129 - especially since you do not have locals on 61.5.

PS if you have SD receivers that are not ViP receivers, they cannot be used on Eastern Arc...

Isn't EA all mpeg4 and SD receivers mpeg2 so not compatible?

It is true, I can get 129 here in Connecticut, but I use 61.5 as my locals are there.

129W works fine in CT....Scott mentioned that it worked there
