A friend wants to use one of their Vip-211 receivers at their cabin in the woods and wanted to know what they will need for equipment. Because of the trees directly around the cabin they will need to install the antenna (Dish 1000.2) on a pole.
How big of a pole (diameter) should they use, what type of bracket do they need to mount the antenna on the pole, and will they need a switch to combine the three LNB feeds?
