So has anyone ever stated the Hard drive Size of the 722k?
We know the 612 and 622 have 320 GB, and 922 1 TB, so before I crack open my 722k, does anyone know.?

Is it a 500GB,
Is it a 320 GB with Mpeg 4 recording Ratings?

Thanks , So my question is its obvious 500 GB is around 55 hours according to E*, So why is it that D* Hr22,23 500GB hard drive claim 100 hours.?

I have more than 55 hours of HD on my 722 and I still have 4 hours of HD left. The 55 hours is from the Mpeg 2 days. I'm not sure how much actual record time is on the 722.

Up to would be better

Their est using their copression. E* could claim up to 150 w/ MPEG4. In this case they are staying conservative.

I know for a fact, that 722 will never hold 150 HD hours.
E* is never conservative with anything that has to do with numbers.

I Still maintain my 60-70 HD hour MAX Estimate.

Agreed. I was playing with the "math" earlier, and that was my estimate as well...MAYBE 80.

Going by 3 to 1

I was just going by the ext someone used earlier comparing MPEG 2 TO MPEG 4. I think that was a bit on the high side myself but see no reason that it couldn't be just as much time on it as the figure you quoted from D*. I think that maybe he was incorrect and figure the gain tween the 2 would only be about 1/3 more. This would only come up to something over 82.

Agree, I could see 80 as well, But my 722 has right now has 45 hours recorded on it and its claims 13 hours left.
That could be 20 hours. Thats I could see.
