Hello. And thanks in advance to anyone who can help me.

I currently have a 722K in the living room / master bed room, a 625 shared by the kids and a 312.

One of my children is moving into their own place. So this is what I'm thinking.

Would I save any money if I got rid of the 625 and bought a 211k (and added a hard drive) for one bed room and used the 312 in the other?

Is there a DVR fee for added hard drives?

You would save about $10/Mo if you swapped the 625 for the 211. As previously stated, there is a one-time fee of $40 to activate the DVR function on the 211. The 211 is $7/Mo vs the 625's $17/Mo.

Here's info for understanding DVR charges on your bill:

#1: Because they CAN, and people pay them! lol
#2: Because people pay them, they jack them up higher from time to time, Reason? See #1 above.
