I would like to use my dish 500 while camping (roughing it)
I have super dish at home with local channels.
Can I use the dish 500 to recieve local channels in my camper?
I realize I would have to move the dish to the third satellite to get local channels. If so, what azimuth, skew, elevation for third satellite for zip 66514

Thanks for any help advice.

No,

Not with a Dish500. The lib on 105 is an fss lnb that requires linear polarization, instead of circular polarization as the channels on 110 and 119. The 105 signal is also weaker, which requires a larger dish on the order of at least 30 inches.

Depends on where you camp at. Most locals are on spotbeams, with a limited footprint around the area being served.

Given that, do a Point Dish from the Installation menu on the receiver, with your zip code, to get the numbers.
