I noticed the Joey has a USB port on it. I assume you could put a EHD on it as well as the hopper?

So the USB port has no use to the consumer?

It will take the wireless dongle and attach to the network, which IIRC will allow full DLNA from the Joey.

Or a (not officially supported) completely wireless Joey.

Just hook the EHD to the Hopper. Can still see/manage it from the linked Joey.

There's three USB ports on the Hopper. Also can get a powered USB hub.
