i presume you mean a 510, yes this is superdish capable
useable? the only reciever which wont accept new yellow card is the 2000 i believe

I have a 510 JVC, is been a good reliable receiver/DVR. Kids keep it humming many hours a day. If buying from Ebay or individual, always buy from a user with good multiple history of feedback. Also request the R number and call dish to check balance and make sure you can get it activated. I have bought 8 receivers through Ebay so far and never had a problem, but have always followed the above rule. If the have good feedback over 100, I do not call about activation or balances if they say it's new.
