New to Dish - Not Receiving All Programming - Dish Can't Figure out why...

I have Dish HD, America's everything pack with locals. I am not receiving many channels, such as Fox Sports and Madison Square Garden. Per Dish, I am supposed to be receiving these. I spent 1 hour on the phone with them last night, and they couldn't figure it out. No blackouts in my area (Kansas City, MO). The only Fox Sports channel I'm receiving is Fox Sports Midwest, and the other's don't even show up on the program guide.

Any ideas? Thanks!

MSG is the local sports channel for New York.

In order to get that, you need to subscribe to the "Multi Sports" package.

Note that that package does not include any Pro sports on those channels (they can only be received in the local area, they will be blacked out in the rest of the country).

Some people believe that the multi sports pack is included in Americas Everything Package. Maybe that is the issue.
As said by kstuart, it is an addition subscription, $5.99 I believe. Just call dish and ask for the multi sports package to be added.

Good for college sports, but pro sports are usually blacked out, unless you find that rare occasion that someone forgot to uplink the blackout codes.

Also, if a baseball game goes over the scheduled time, and the guide no longer shows that game is on, but it ran over, you can usually catch the end of the game.

There is a large section on the left side of the AEP page on the Dish Network Web Site that says:

"To find out which Regional ports Networks and Local Channels are available in your area click here"

As mentioned above, the basic packages (including AEP) include the RSN that serves your area.
