On the leaked page, E* appears to have changed something wrt 811 vs the 6000's...

On 811:
HD connectivity: DVI-HDTV/DISH DVI (DVI-D) and HD Component video outputs.
SD connectivity: Composite audio/video and S-video outputs

On 6000:
High Definition (HD) and Standard Definition (SD) content can be viewed from the HD video outputs

Wondering if this means no SD output with Component/DVI. Seems like the slacker way of getting around poor PQ on non-HD component/DVI. Anyone know better? If this is the case, gotta fast track a new (real) receiver to swtich all of this stuff :)

the 811 does not need sd composites. it will output sd through it's hd components.

Recording HDTV from sat, cable or OTA

PBS Won- stopped orginal Super Dish plan?
