Picture quality of Hopper and Joey

My install is Monday. My main HD TV is in my Den. I may have to use a Joey as the receiver. Is there any HD picture quality difference between the Joey a Nd the Hopper? Thanks for your responses.

1 Hopper/3 Joeys on same account, I haven't noticed any differences on live and dvr'd recordings. All units are connected by HDMI on similar tv's at work.

No they both are HD Receivers one just a DVR is all and they both have HDMI inputs so HD should look the same. Overall the HD should look really good I had forgotten had good Dish HD was until I made the switch back.

The Joey only has HDMI for HD and RCA for SD. If that fits your needs you're good to go. I don't see any difference in HD PQ between a Hopper and a Joey.

No difference in picture quality, but the Joey cannot do picture-in-picture (PiP).
