Hi,
DN will install 2 dish for me nextweek, small one is the only one I need (from what I know) but they agreed to give me a superdish for free. Can I use this dish or do I need Dish1000 to get FTA from middleeast (I live in N. California)? If so what else do I need? I appreciate your quick response

121 is where the international programming lives. So, superdish 121 is what you would need. 129 is on Dish 1000 and has HDTV.

Dish Network Dishes cannot be used as FTA Dishes. For FTA you need to ask in the FTA forum.

Remember that FTA means "Free to Air". These are unecrypted channels that can be received on FTA receivers.

A SuperDish 121° will allow you to get channels from the middle east. But you have to subscribe to them.
