Hello gang i have just a simple question... I am considering upgrading to a newer DVR, but for right now HD is not in the equation for the simple reason my eyesight is now starting to really go down hill and my wife is not into HD since our TV we have in the living room is pretty new... I have started to notice some strange behaviors in my replaced 510... With August 15th coming are there any plans for new promotions for current customers? I know there are screen caps from the retailer chat, but those don't work to good with screen reading devices. If there are already any post that answers this question can somebody post a link? I think 8-15 the promotion for an existing subscriber to get a 622 for $50 (after rebates) expires, so it may actually be better to upgrade to the 622 now, if you don't want the HD but want the reciever itself, just pay the enabling fee for $6.

Hell I'm thinking of getting a 622 myself before she expires.
