Receiver and motor alignment

I have a winegard 76km dish with an sg2100 motor. My receiver is an Opentech ODS4000 with blindsearch. It Has a list of all the north american satellites preprogrammed and is DiSEqC 1.2 compliant. I followed the installation instructions for the motor and dish exactly ( pointing south and all that). I have signal levels of 76 to 95 when I rotate across the arc so I know this part is good. My problem Is how do I tell which satellite is which? Also my receiver has a list of satellites but how do I coordinate a particular satellite in the receiver with the motor and thus the dish. I can choose a satellite in the receiver but then the motor will move the dish but it ends up about 15 degrees to the east of where it should be. My longitude is 42.15 degrees and latitude is 83.70

CORRECTION: latitude is 42.15 and longitide is 83.7

Does your receiver have USALS capability ?

No USALS capibility. I'm thinking that I can use the manual buttons on the bottom of the motor to maneuver to the satellite nearest my true south. Then I think that If I do a blind search maybe the coordinates will be programmed in so that all the other satellites will fall into alignment also?
