Hello i forgot to ask earlier i live on Douglas lake and wood's surround my house will the satellite system work if there's tree's in the way?

As long as the signal comes down above the trees, satellite signals will not pass through a tree! Now and again you may find a gap between branches but satellite reception needs a CLEAR line of sight to the satellite.
