Okay, so we've established that the motor control on the Viewsat 2000 Extreme is little lacking.
Another problem with my new Extreme has popped up.
The other night I first hooked everything up and ran an optical cable from the back of the Extreme to my home theatre receiver. Fired everything up and boom audio sounds great.
Last night I try the same thing and nothing. No audio. I know about selecting AC-3 using the AUDIO button but even that doesn't work now.
The RCA jacks work fine. The optical cable isn't an issue (I can get audio from my Coolsat and DVD recorders just fine).
What has gone wrong? Did I inadvertently "turn off" the S/PDIF jack somehow? Is there a menu setting for it like on the Coolsat?
