I know that 9425 and 9466 HD Events channels are used for the NBA HD broadcasts, for those qualified subscribers.

What other "events" appear on them?

Thanks,

Jeff

The Paris Hilton Video.

Seriously,

In the past, the HD Events channel has been used for:

The CART Race in August when HDNet wasn't available.
The Masters Golf coverage from the USA network.
NBA All Star Game from the TNT network.

will they use it for the NBA playoffs that TNT will show in HD? I am hoping that E* will add TNT-HD to the lineup....but probably wont occur until 2009.

Oooooh. Golf in HD. Does it bore you to death any quicker that way?

It's as boring as any other transmission of golf, but it is very beautiful to watch. There's something cool about counting the blades of grass......

Last night they showed a Fox Sports Net HD Feed of the Kings - Red Wings hockey game on the HD Events Channel. Only available to those who get the Center Ice package, however.

Thats actually pretty encouraging that they used the HD Events channl for Hockey. This is the first time I've heard of them doing that. I know about the NBA-TV stuff.

I wonder if the Baseball MLB:EI might bring HD BB games.
