what is up with the program guide?

was there an update??? All HD channels are listed twice ie, espn has 140, 140 with a little HD symbol next to it and 9424 with a little HD symbol next to it.

They mentioned a new HD mapdown was coming in the tech chat. Sound like it can be turned on or off.

I have a 211 and a 411, just checked both. the update is on the 411, not on the 211. Works nice, now if you go to channel 140, it takes you automatically to the HD version, my 411 shows software L345.

Just checked mine and it is updated as well to L345 software. It is easier to navigate but now I am used to going into the 9000's.

Nice to hear it is finally happening.

Should work on FOOD, A&E, HBO, Showtime, Starz!, TNT, NFL and Home & Garden.

Maybe Discovery and National Geographic as well. Don't have my list here at work.

They are not using the Mapdown technology, just an additional channel assignmant for the same streams.

They said on the Tech Chat that you would be able to turn it off if you don't like it.
