I believe it is a YES network broadcast. I have the NBA Package etc...live in Columbus, Ohio. We use to get these YES broadcasts in Baseball so I was wondering who will get the NBA Broadcast on 94. Big Sixers fan here.

It's on here in CT, but this is YES territory.

NBA HD is a joke

I live in the Boston area and so far there has been at least one NBA HD game on channels 94-98 since the NBA season started. But to my surprise I have not gotten one game. They all say programming is not available in your area. I understand some of them but not all of them. When I questioned D* they said either not enough tickets sold for the game or not in my area for viewing. But I have the NBA league pass. This is unacceptable. I got most of the these games last year in HD why not this year? I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE THAT ALL OF THE GAMES ARE NOT AVAILABLE IN MY AREA, IT JUST CAN'T BE.

Yeah, like blacking out various Yankees-oriented shows on YES (and yeah, I have Extra Innings, comes in handy running a baseball magazine) such as Yankeeography — why NBA HD games are blacked out is beyond me. But...sometimes I do get the NHL HD games and...wait for it...don't have Center Ice.

I first thought that they couldn't do regionalization for HD, based on their way their system was wired. But as it appears some people in home markets get the HD games, I guess that can't be the case.

My personal case, having worked for big companies and having covered and written about D* back before the News Corp days (and yeah, that was me quoted in HNS ads back in the day) — some mid-level manager who lost his ticket for the clue bus is making these decisions and there are up and down communication issues (typical in corporate America) so no one either knows or knows how to fix it.

Short of sending out ninjas (No, not really. Really. No. Yes. Maybe) to have a discussion with the mid-level manager involved, I supposed we'll have to cope with it or — gasp — get cable.
