Sorry if this has been asked before but I want to get a new pvr HD reciever but dont want it to be obsolete when MPEG 4 comnes out. Will the current recievers be compatible with MPEG4? And when is MPEG 4 coming out? Thanks BP

The worst that will happen in the immediate future, is that you won't be able to get HD LIL channels and then perhaps new HDTV channels. Current existing channels will likely remain MPEG2 for a while. So you likely won't lose current capability when MP4 comes out, you just won't be able to take advantage of the newest stuff/tech.
