I don't think they are taking mobile seriously just yet.
So far all they've done is sold a license to a company to push out an unfinished game and rake in money from licensing.
Now if they update the thing to include all the features of any real pokemon game, then maybe.
With how popular the game has become it would be a really bad move not to add a proper full feature set. Honestly Nintendo should look into buying them out.
Pokemon go as it stands is just a copy of Ingress (made by the same company behind pokemon go) with licensed nintendo characters tossed into it.
