Just recieved this info today from WMUR in Manchester,NH.. Sounds like good news for us here in NH!!

Thank you for writing concerning WMUR on Dish Network. Although we very
much want to be on Dish Network, their receive facilitie's location in
Boston has been too remote for us to reach with our over-the-air signal.
This, however will be changing within the next several weeks as we
establish a fiber-optic connection to that facility.

We are moving as quickly as possible to make this happen. I would invite
you to periodically check our website for updates on this connection.
We'll also be promoting this connection on our air when the time does
come. Thank you for your continued interest in WMUR-TV

Regards

Did you take note of the date of the original post? January 2005. This is 2006. Dish has had WMUR in the Boston Locals since last May. I've got it here in Belknap County.
Now the question is..When will Dish provide WMUR for the other 2 DMAs in the state as the new law allows? DirecTV has WMUR in all three DMAs in NH...even way up in Coos County and over in Grafton County. :-)

Yeah really I want my WMUR!!!:D

When Dish gets E*10 up and WMUR is moved to 119 or 110 it will be made available to the rest of the state. Dish is not going to make it available to Portland or Burlington as long as it is at 61.5

See ya
