Renewals & Cancelled Shows

There is speculation that Timeless could be picked up by USA network because it is owned by NBC Universal. It would be a simple switch from one part of the company to the other. I hope so because I loved Timeless.

So is it owned by NBC Universal or by Sony Pictures, not clear on that.

Anyway, time is passing, and Timeless is getting colder and colder, Netflix recently denied again any projects to save Timeless.

My personal view is that the ratings do not justify a new season.

I would love to see another season, but......now I seriously doubt there will be another one.

And as time goes by, I think Abigail Spencer and the cast could find new projects, and if Timeless by some miracle comes back, the producers would need to find a new cast.

SyFY is also by NBC and they didn't want it either.

So, is this a Wrap Up movie or a movie you can sit down to and watch and not have to already have the background ?
I think i watched at least the 1st season, stopped sometime after that

The wrap up is supposed to be about how the gang saves Rufus. What happened to Rufus is shown in season 2.

No surprise. People don't watch superhero shows for mediocre drama. The only really good one was The Punisher. Daredevil had moments, but just moments.

Fox:

Lethal Weapon
The Passage
Rel
The Cool Kids
Star
Proven Innocent

ABC:

I enjoyed Life in Pieces and The Kids Are Alright.

I enjoyed The Kids are Alright, and it was steadily improving, but I was the only person in my family that liked it. Not sure why. I suspect the mom was too abrasive for some.

Nothing I watch got cancelled, in the big 4's upfronts. Only move of significance, is CBS moving Magnum to the "Friday Night Death Slot" in favor of a court room drama, creating an line up of its two Hawaii shows, followed by the original Magnum in Blue Bloods.

Anyway, the amount of filmed entertainment gets less every year. The figures for this fall, have ABC with 12 hours of actual scripted shows, CBS 17, NBC with 10 and Fox with just 9, 2 of those being cartoons.
