It wont be in the living room until late this weekend prob, so I wont know about how/if the am21 slows it down. Its as fast as you could like just moving around in the menus.

I called DirecTV to activate MRV on my network and we started talking about the HR24. Robert said he can't even get one. I told him about Overstock, and he agreed that it was a good deal.

On a side note, another great service call with DirecTV. No problem getting MRV activated on my network. As soon as I get my HR24, I'm calling back and getting DECA and SWiM installed....

For those posting $99, NOT FUNNY, made me go back and look too.

GOOD NEWS for me at least, the HR24's shipped from Columbus tonight at 8:30, and are scheduled delivery tomorrow. I ordered in the middle of the, they shipped the next day, and they'll get here the day after, around 36 hours net.

They did bundle my two boxes together for shipping, so just one tracking number.

It looks like Overstock is using regional warehouses, which probably means the receivers are just drop-shipped from a DirecTV warehouse somewhere.

Those worried about a week delay for California and the such, I imagine it would ship from a warehouse closer to you. Another poster said theirs shipped from Atlanta this week, so there is your sign.

My DECA install is Saturday, which will have my switch upgrade, so depending on timing, I'll probably activate the two HR24 and one H24 late Saturday (hopefully in time for the CE) or Sunday.
