Last: Terminator2: Judgment Day...
That is the movie that started this hidef on optical disc race...
With the WMV-HD Extreme edition.

It was Microsoft first public showing of their WMV format in its hidef incarnation.
And they got access to a better master and Cameron himself as a consultant...
And although it can hardly hold a candle to today's best BD transfers, at the time
it was released it handily beat the D-VHS version of the movie while using lower bitrate...

It was the first using server authorization for playback (abandoned shortly after).
It was also the first HD movie that was ripped of the disc using a Japanese version of WMP v.9...

It will always retain its special place in the hidef revolution of the last 10 years!

This one should probably be locked since HD-DVD... Yes I have some HD-DVDs (about 70) and I still watch them from time to time, but red world is pretty much out of date...
