Here
I am considering the following new installation:

2 HD DVR Receivers
2 HD Receivers

How many tuners will be available for recording with this type of setup?

Will I also be able to record off air channels?

Thanks

There are two tuners in each dvr. If you have the AM21 or AM21n ota tuner you can record ota signals, but still only two per dvr. You can mix one satellite and one ota signal, too.

I wish Directv would set it up that if you had a AM21 it added one tuner (OTA) to the bunch ;)
but I guess you can't have everything

4 Tuners to record!

You can't do OTA channels as there is no OTA tuner in the Directv box.

Just did a setup the other day for my lawyer with (5) HD/DVR's, and he can record up to 10 shows at once!

Totally Amazing!
