Att watch has more of the top cable channels around the same price, but no DVR.
They have made that service hard to check out. If you google ATT watch, you get links to news stories about the service, and several links to watches that ATT sells. Basically nothing that shows you exactly how to sign up.

Yeah, the name is confusing. I had to ask Att for the link. It's a stripped down version of Direc tv Now. Same interface.

On the reviews I read it stated AT&T Watch you could only stream 1 stream at a time, where Philo is 3 streams, also AT&T Watch does not have The Travel Channel so it's no joy for me.
It seems like AT&T Watch is trying to be a blend between YTTV and Philo and after I have checked out all my channel preferences and the internet TV providers, I can't get lower than YTTV/w Starz and Philo for my channel needs.
But compared to Charter Spectrum cable HDTV I'm running about $70. cheaper.
Would it be nice if Philo supplied a guide like their website has on my Roku? Yes but for the price I'll get by.

I've had philo since the beginning of the year. Stand alone by itself. $16 package. I don't like the guide at all. You can fast forward thru the commercials on DVR function on your PC.

Yea the more I use it maybe Philo needs to talk to YTTV about their guide,Philo's guide on their website is one of their weak points, other than that I have Philo's $20. package because I watch those other channels.

I dropped FiOS TV at the beginning of August and signed up for the $20/month Philo because all my wife and I really wanted were Food Network, Cooking Channel, and once in a great while BBC America. We've watched more TV via Philo in the past month and a half than I think we did in the five years of having FiOS (without Cooking Channel), and it costs less and is more convenient.

I like it I have the $20.package with Philo because I like the AHC and the Cooking Channel and Nicktoons.
I also have the $40. package of YouTube TV/wStarz! which has both the Starz channels and Starz Encore channels for $9.
I like it!:D
Exactly the same service lineup I have..when I add the digital subnets OTA that YTTV doesn't carry, quite a few channel offerings..before even if if I stream Pluto Tv or Tubi TV.

I'm going to leave Dish sooner or later.... not because I'm unhappy with them, but I'm living on a fixed income now and for some reason, I've decided that I would rather eat than watch TV. LOL.
I've tried all the streaming services except for Sling (not an option) and Philo, which I just set up for a week long trial. It was nice not having to give all my credit info up front.
So - I just set up with the free trial for Philo - I love how easy it is to check it out - no credit info or anything.

But - I'm wondering if there is any way to get a conventional guide on screen? Right now, all I see is 8 big boxes on each screen for 8 programs. Not a very appealing way to find what I want to watch. Hopefully there is a way that I just haven't found yet. This is definitely not my idea of a "guide".

Having tried them all, I'm really leaning toward VUE - unless I like something about Philo better.

Unfortunately, outside of a browser, Philo does not offer a traditional guide.

That seems so weird - they have a decent lineup of channels.... and decent pricing as well. But I spent some time last evening with it and it just feels too disjointed and confusing. Hopefully they'll re-think their interface soon - my education continues .Thank you :)

You can select the Live section up at the top to watch programs live or if you think you missed a program look below the picture displayed and there is a little blue vod box for binge watching.
