Don't know what to say, except I hate you're having this problem and wish the best for you. From what I have seen D* can be intransigent when it comes to issues like these. They pretty much toe the line. Good luck no matter what. Maybe someone who knows how to "work" the system can advise you.

What is that stuff you installers use to seal the dish lag bolts? The only thing I've found similar is Black Jack sealant (Lowe's) but it's not exactly the same. That would be good stuff for general roof usage, not just for sat installs. Where can we get it?

Hmmm, I don't know about buying from a dealer, but usually, if you buy from D*, they say you have to activate each receiver within 30 days or they could charge you 100 bucks or so for each one that isn't activated. I don't know why, but I did read that in the agreement. Good luck, hope it all...
