What is going to happen to 121?

Where are people coming up with Dish is doing away with Echo9 121W????? The only thing I've heard of is they are doing away with AMC15 105W which they don't own but lease. Echo9 is owned totally by dish and up until Echo 10 was there newest satellite to lauch. I may eat my words but people need...

    minimum signal strength

make sure your looking at the right spotbeam. Example : my locals are on spotbeam9 with around 100 signal strength, i can go down to, say, spotbeam 7 thats got a 65 signal. Thats doesn't matter because spotbeam 7 doesn't carry any channels that i get, its got locals from another city thats...

Tonight & The Rest of the Echostar X Moving Schedule

    Gadsden, AL 110W Here's my readings from Gadsden, AL for 110W using a Dish500 for 110 and 119, Dish300 for 61.5 hooked into DP34 switch going to a 411 receiver. Also, its pretty overcast outside but I don't think its having any effect on the signal 110W TP1 - 104 TP2 - (Spotbeam) 0 TP3 -...

Tonight & The Rest of the Echostar X Moving Schedule

Software error???? Thats hilarious!!!! The reason your not getting a signal on TP's 7,13,17 is because those are 8psk transponders instead of QPSK. The 301 doesn't have a chip/tuner that can decode 8PSK signals while the 522 (Broadcom BCM4500) does. Don't worry your not missing any channels on...

    DP 34 switch

The same why some people say that a DPP 44 switch will work without the power inserter. Sure it might work. But its not made to. What I should have said is that the DPP twin into a DP34 switch will work.... for two weeks or less.

    DP 34 switch

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but a DPP twin will not work with a DP34 switch.

    Any new info on INHD?

HDNet/HDNet movies has transitioned into a very good couple of channels. When Dish first picked them up I very rarely ever watched them. There programming wasn't very good and they replayed stuff over and over. Here lately they have started carrying some very good content. HD Net movies has some...

    DP 34 switch

He must have a DP twin because in the original post he said it was hooked to a DP21 switch. A DPP twin won't work with a DP21 or a DP34 switch.

    Can't see sat 129

Your down here in the southeast like me so you will probably be better off with a dish @ 61.5W than @ 129W. You'll get alot better signal strength with 61.5

    Primestar score............The 129 Project

Primestar used three different types of dishes made by channel master. There are the 75E and 84E elliptical dishes and there is the round 1meter type that you have. The 1.2m white dishes that you came upon as far as I know where never used for by primestar. I have one also. They are mostly used...
