It seems to me that if Lifetime wants the channel to be added for free Charlie should add it, on the 61.5 slot. Then if people really want it they can pay Charlie for another dish.

I think they don't realize how much money they stand to make off of WWE 24/7 I mean no major market has it yet so if they were the first to do it they would get droves of wrestling fans fed up with waiting.

Here I am tearing my hair out and running a switch test (go me now my 625 doesn't have locals listed at all) and resetting to factory defaults, doing a reset on the receivers and it's not on my end! ARG! Oh and Cincinnati, OH locals are still down!

They're trying to do that with the 625's with movies on demand but they're charging too much ($2.99) for movies that are too old (Mallrats, The Breakfast Club, Jurassic Park & Jaws) I think they would be better served if they instead did on-demand content for free and depended less on the movies...

Or you could buy a Video capture card for your computer and just hook it up to your PC and record it, plus it would make it dead easy to remove commericials or hack in things :)

Yet in his post he clearly states that he pays his bill and says nowhere that his father has a reciever.

No he's not sharing the account, he just has the bill sent to his father's house. Now if his father had the account and he was a reciever on that, THAT would be account sharing.

So it was supposed to launch in Feburary but then no no next month. So we're in March we wait until near the end of March, no no next month! So now we're waiting for April. Am I the only one who is thinking at the end of April we'll be hearing no no next month?

The update will come when they launch DirecTV Active which was supposed to be sometime this month.

On the existing D10's they'll be activating it with a software update, the first the D10's will have gotten. I know that's different from a firmware update but I felt it should be mentioned it :)

Why was this moved to the DVR Forum when the OP is talking about the D10 which is a standard receiver? Unless I've totally been using mine wrong ;)
