The 722k is noticeably better than the 722 when scaling (i.e. watching 4:3 material on an HD channel in Partial Zoom mode).

I'm fine with them adding it as an HD channel; Dish SD (a.k.a. Blur-O-Vision) leaves a lot to be desired and you just know, given how reluctant they seem to have been to even add this channel, they would have assigned Logo the lowest possible bandwidth they could get away with.

Me too! Already had two occasions where it was recording 4 HD programs at once and they all came out perfect. And it's especially awesome not to have to pick and choose which overlapping OTA program gets demoted to SD anymore.

Dish managed to famously screw up my 722k upgrade, which I just cancelled. I placed the DIU order on 2/27 for a 722k and the MT2 module. They charged my CC that day. I called on 3/6 to request the RMA number for the old box and was told they had no record of my order. After 45 minutes...

I just did a DIU on Friday for $104.99: $75 for the 722k and 29.99 for the MT2, self installed. Replacing my 722.

Plenty to bitch about if these new markets go the way of South Bend, IN. They "launched" South Bend with great fanfare - I received letters, e-mails, and even got a phone call - only to discover that just the NBC affiliate was available. No ABC, CBS, CW or Fox. I get all of my HD locals...

I love how they say South Bend/Elkhart now has HD Locals available: we actually got only one (NBC).

Remember, the only South Bend HD station uplinked is WNDU-16.1. The other South Bend stations on 61.5 are MPEG4 SD.
