Just buy one that has a common cheap replacement battery. I'm on my third battery for my Belkin 650 unit over the past 8 years, but the batteries are cheap ($15).

I'm considering upgrading as well. I'll need to transfer my recording to the HWS. Can I transfer it in batches? I only have a 500gig external HDD, so it would take about 3 batches. Also, will they just mail me the HWS and I swap them out myself or do I have to pay for a service call?

Annoying "Ep" in front of the episode numbers. The protected icon still does not show up unless you hit info. It does seem a bit snappier going between menus though. I also don't remember the "My Account" in the main menu before.

I just started using Plex with the Hopper yesterday, so I can't say one way or the other. I used to use PS3 Media Server on an old AMD Althlon machine and I basically could not fast forward at all or it would kick me out of it. Now I have a Core 2 Quad machine with Plex, so I'm hoping that...

No, it still does not work.

I just noticed that when I have a recording conflict now and the lowest priority event is not recorded, the next time the same episode airs it is not being recorded either. I have to manually restore the recording.

Not new to this update, but I wish timers would skip events that are not part of your subscription rather than taking up a tuner to record nothing.
