I have been trying to install a VCR to the 2nd TV on one of those 625 dual turners and it doesn't work. I have a VCR hooked up to Tuner 1 and it works fine but I just can't get it to work on 2. I'd appreciate some help on this.

You are right. Apparently they left the free preview longer than they intended. I assumed they had added the channel to the Latino max package since they added it to the top 100. Looks like I'll be getting the news exclusively from the net. I don't watch CNN etc.

The channel was removed this evening. I have had it for like 2 months now. Wasn't Fox made available for the 100 package?? This sucks.

The less affluent customer comment is BS. IF Dish were the leader in HD they wouldn't be saying this crap. HD is the reason D* is kicking E* butt right now. There are more poor people that have basic cable ( no digital box) than Satellite TV. How many of the 13.8 million Dish subcribers do...

Yes I do but it doesn't tell you by how much it has been changed. That flashing message has been there for months and I have never had such low signal strength reading. Do they change the signal strength frequently??

There has been some strong winds the last few days in my area. I checked the bolts on the dish and every one of them is really tight. It doesn't look like my dish has moved.

I get my local channels through Dish, not OTA.

The signal strength on channels 100 and above are in the 50's and 60's while my local channels are in the high 90's and 100's. Why the discrepancy between local and satellite channels??

What good is it to have channels that have the HD logo on the corner of the screen but no HD programming? A lot of those so called HD channels are nothing but stretch-o-vision. Just remember, patience is a virtue.

When it is all said and done both of these providers are going to have the same amount of HD channels. By the time everybody out there has an HD television both providers will offer the same programming. The decision on which one you choose will come down to hardware.(E*'s hardware kicks ass)
