It is amazing that companies don't do more to keep loyal customers. I left DISH and they had so little to do to keep me as a customer. I was a top spender and it would not have taken much to keep my business. Worked out nice for me though.

I left DISH and went to U-verse back in 2008. After a year with U, I dumped that crappy service and now have Comcast. At least in the Chicago area, more channels, shaper HD PQ, and faster internet.

I had U-verse and hd pq was the worst out of Comcast,DISH, and DIRECTV. The hd stream thing get worse if you are recording hd while trying to watch hd on multiple tv's. Recording counts against the hd available.

It is amazing how subs can have totally different experiences with cs. One of the reasons I dumped DISH was the lousy, incompetent csr's.

When they dumped BEYOND JAZZ, it made the whole lineup WORSE!

Not better than cable in Chicago. I have COMCAST and have better choices especially when it comes to local programming. DISH doesn't carry any sub-channels-COMCAST DOES. CLTV-not on DISH,on COMCAST. MLB Net and MLB EI-not on DISH,on COMCAST. And don't even get started with VOD. COMCAST BLOWS...
