They've had that same content on a loop for the past 8 months. I'm excited to hear that they will finally be putting something new on there, just as I have gotten my hands on a 4K TV. ;) Seems everyone is using the TBS 6925 to get this, that's what I am using to receive it too.

I've never had a problem with AMC 1's skew for the NBC fronthauls, at least on a 1.2m. They are so strong that they come in just fine even with the skew on your dish way off from the offset that AMC 1 requires. It's those darn NBC backhauls that usually need that extra bit of signal strength...

So since you are the uplinker, do you know what it is about your feed that you are doing differently from normal DVB-S2 8PSK feeds that prevents most tuners from being able to tune it properly yet? Because Prof tuners and the cheaper TBS tuners do not work for it. Only people with the high end...

I don't know why they would scrap a nice commercial 1.2m antenna. You could put one of those on eBay and find someone who'd pay $100+ and the shipping costs for it if you had all the parts. What a waste of gas.

I must say I do find it rather peculiar that these OTA networks don't just offer Internet streams of their channels themselves to bring in all those extra viewers and thus extra ad dollars. With an Internet stream you can even track viewership much more accurately than with that Nielsen trash...

It's definitely a mistake not to have at least one 1.2m or larger Ku dish. I encounter feeds that are not strong enough for my 90cm Geosatpro antenna to lock all the time. The performance gain from a 90cm -> 120cm dish is quite large.

PS2 games running at 1080p look great. I prefer emulating them over the 'HD collections' on the PS3 for that very reason. The PS2 games emulated @ native 1080p on a PC look better than their 'HD remasters' on the PS3 running @ native 720p and resolution is the sole reason. Are you kidding...

I sure hope so. The Xbone and PS4 are underpowered piles of crap. They can't even do native 1080p60 which I think we were all expecting to be the marker of 'next-gen'. And of course the Wii U is essentially a Fisher Price toy at this point. I've been doing 1080p 60 FPS on my PC for over six...
