With Gordon I'm hoping they vote yes tomorrow in the new drug testing that can clear the way for welker and Gordon to be reinstated... Gordon is a def wr1 if he can stay away from the weed haha
I actually had a pretty good first week. This year I'm in 10 leagues and the one league plays double headers each week so I have a total of 11 games each week. I started the season 9-2. I won both games in the double header league which is the most expensive league.
I did not do well this weekend at all. I either had injuries or started the wrong players. King is going to beat me with a score that is just slightly less bad than mine. My bench outscored my starters and King's starters. GROSS
Yeah, there have been some crazy low scores this year. My best player this week was my kicker with 19 points. Without his crazy performance you would have beaten me with your 51 points. My team needs some major changes going forward.
In my main league I had a great game last weekend. I went heavy on WRs and was really feeling like I made the right choice. This weekend I got hammered with injuries. Brandon Marshall wasn't expected to play so I benched him and since it was the night game I had to make the choice early. AJ Green got hurt and scored zero points. Knowshon Moreno got hurt and barely scored any points. Toby Gerhart has been hurt and he barely scored any points. Pierre Garcon was not hurt but still only had one catch. These are all players on my team in my Houston league and I am in big trouble now.
All 3 of my football teams are looking shaky this year. After this week I'll be 1-1 in all of them but didn't really earn any wins. The other guys' teams just sucked a little more than mine.
Luckily I'm doing much better in baseball. I'm in the championship for both of my baseball leagues this week.

I also made the mistake of listening to the 'experts' who said Marshall wouldn't play and benched him. I was lucky to eek out a win without him....

I lost my starting QB for most of the season and I benched Gates after he sucked the previous week.
In my Houston league I managed to pull off one win out of the two we play each week. Luck was able to get me the win last night.
Ahmad Bradshaw has more touchdown receptions than Calvin Johnson, Larry Fitzgerald, and A.J. Green combined.

I'm not exactly sure what you are talking about but I'm guessing the confusion is coming from the 2-week match ups. I haven't done that in other leagues before but basically each round of the playoffs is decided by your total score over a two week period instead of the normal one week system.
My other leagues don't do it this way but I'm okay with it, especially since I would be out right now if it was just based on last week's score. I think the idea is to prevent something flukey, like a defense randomly scoring 30 points, from deciding who the champion is.
