Noticed they don't allow DVR of the new CBS station. Most likely because its local only so no cloud for some reason. Way too many restrictions with streaming its ridiculous.

How is the pq?
I tried CBS all access but the pq was awful.

Its okay, watchable but think some of the news studio cameras are sub-par. Haven't tested with sports yet where you can really see how much compression is used through movement. This is small market news station out of Lincoln Ne.

I haven't had any problems DVRing content from my two owned-and-operated local affiliates, CBS and NBC, except when that content is blacked out, which is rare. In fact, all last season I DVRed all the NFL games on CBS.

I was thinking that the recently added locals are not fully implemented into the system. May take a few days.

I've had to log in once or twice in the past, but this time had to reset.

Oddly enough I logged back in with three of my fire TVs with the new password.

When I got to the fourth it logged in automatically.

I had 2 CBS stations show up and neither are my local stations. I have been able to watch both but I have not tried to DVR anything yet.

Can I use one of them:(
Local CBS would keep me here for a long time.
At least until Directv makes a true 4K DVR.

We now have Vue, I like it but it will take time for my wife to get used to it.

We can run it on 5 devices at once so no more monthly box fees, no locals and sports surcharge every month.

This is interesting, apparently Vue was already paying these taxes & it was included in your monthly bill, not added on as a surcharge. As one in the comments section explained it, if you had the $30.00 package & the state tax was $3.00, they took it out of the $30.00 & kept $27.00 for themselves. Now they are keeping the whole $30.00 & passing the cost of the tax onto you, if applicable.
 
Alabama is on the list.
Got mine yesterday.
I've decided to go back to Directv for now. Gave me a 2 year deal I couldn't resist.
I've enjoyed Vue and would gladly recommend to my friends.
