Monsters HD was a great channel.

Me-TV and Antenna TV both have shows which is also airing on TV Land but my God TV Land has edited so many scenes out of each episode for more commercials it's crazy. Me-TV and Antenna TV air syndicated episodes, but they aren't chopped up to the extreme like TV Land does.

I also get Me-TV and Antenna TV OTA and Dish has guide information for both channels in the Orlando area. I watch both channels.

I have been requesting FearNet for a year and watched while all 3 local cable companies in my area have added it, but not Dish. Like I said, they seem to only be adding filler channels, not channels members are asking for. Not sure what their strategy is any more.

Dish is in channel reduction mode this year. Don't expect any new quality channels which are being requested by the customers to be added. You might see a couple new filler channels which nobody is requesting to be added though.

You are likely right. Dish is in channel dropping mode this year. Drops channels, save millions. I don't expect anything new from Dish this year.

Do I have to keep a basic package if I want to only use Dish for the movie pakages? Thinking about adding Bright House cable so I can get AMC back, plus FEARnet HD, The CW in HD and the all our sub locals then use Dish only for movies.

I don't think Dish is even trying to work out a deal with AMC.

I have always wondered why those superstations are being offered in HD. I was going to add one so I could get the CW in HD as they don't offer my local CW in HD but it's not offered HD on one of the Superstations either.
