Did you set up the box that you are having problems with for the oval dish setup. If you did not select the oval dish setup the box will not pickup from all 3 satellites. go into the instulation screen and make sure you have selected oval dish type.

Have you tried hooking up the receiver at a friends house away from your condo duplex. That would let you know if it was a receiver problem or a wiring problem within your condo duplex.(The high frequency network) as you say could be causing the problem.I really have never herd of that problem...
