As I repair some receivers, I believe your problem is power supply filter caps going/gone bad. Look at power supply board and check for bulging, rounded tops, not flat tops on the capacitors. Replace any that are rounded. drjohn

I havea X2 receiver. It did not come with G19 in memory (only european satellites). I had to add the satellite name and then wrote in one known active transponder for that satellite in order to aim my dish.

I tried a sathawk 800 (sadouns version of the openbox s9) and was not able to get the channels also. A Sonicview 8000, however, does and the channels show as 480i. , which the openbox cannot do in Mpeg4. drjohn
