Check to see if you're covered by the Project Fi network

You have an iPhone that is that much or more. ;) The cost of the plan isn't that bad if you don't use a lot of data. I would most likely be able to get by with $30-$40 per month. Not many plans out there for those prices that include unlimited calling and text messages.

Check to see if you're covered by the Project Fi network

I read it that way as well but wasn't 100% sure.

Check to see if you're covered by the Project Fi network

Would be interesting only if you can use both of the networks. T-Mobile sucks when you leave the metro area and Sprint at least has cell coverage where T-Mobile is lacking. Might give it a try since its only $20 per month for unlimited voice and texts. No commitment so can easily go back to...

How to unlock a phone locked to Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, or T-Mobile

It wasn't hard in the first place. Haven't had a problem with a carrier unlocking a phone for me over the past 3+ years.

    T-Mobile News and Discussion Thread

The Nexus 6 has had 5.0.1 for over a week now. This really isn't any real news.

    What is your current phone?

Just activated my Nexus 6. It's been sitting at home for over a week while I was out of town.

Sprint confirms Galaxy S4 + Note 3 KitKat rollout, reveals plans for more Samsung updates

Camera is not on the lock screen if you have a passcode. Also it doesn't defeat the purpose as if you have a passcode nobody should be able to launch an app without the passcode. Posted Via The FREE SatelliteGuys Reader App!

Sprint confirms Galaxy S4 + Note 3 KitKat rollout, reveals plans for more Samsung updates

If you have a passcode the camera option is no longer there. Posted Via The FREE SatelliteGuys Reader App!

AT&T New Pricing for Mobile Share Plan! Cut device monthly charge from $30 to $15!

I know that you own the phone after your two year contract as well. Just explaining to the one that didn't think you owned the phone on the next plan. I have sold many phones and there isn't much risk or hassle to it. Posted Via The FREE SatelliteGuys Reader App!

AT&T New Pricing for Mobile Share Plan! Cut device monthly charge from $30 to $15!

You own the phone once you finish making payments. Think of it as a 0% financing plan. At least that is my understanding. Posted Via The FREE SatelliteGuys Reader App!

Apple’s iPhone 6 could come as soon as May

If they bring out a 5" screen this would bring me back to the iPhone.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Android 4.3 update starts rolling out officially, just as promised

The update is out in Germany only right now. I wouldn't call this great news for any of us over here.

Android 4.1.2 update available for AT&T's Samsung Galaxy Tab 2

From my understanding it does count toward your data limit. The best bet is to download it via WIFI.

People who have had IPHONE 4 or 5 and Samsung Galaxy S4 which is better Pros and Cons of both?

I have had the iPhone 4, 4S and Galaxy S4. Wife currently has the iPhone 5 so I pretty much have had the whole gamut. I would either go with the iPhone 5 or Galaxy S4. Both are actually really nice devices. The biggest thing is how much to you want to play and customize the phone? The one...

    Thinking about upgrading my phone's

If you are only going to use it for a credit card reader why not just spend the money for a tablet that has 3G/4G and use that. This way you only have to get the data plan on a month to month basis. You wouldn't have to worry about the extra costs unless you planned on using it that month...

    Nice Christmas Gift from AT&T

Is that the closest tower to your house? If it isn't then you are most likely never hitting that tower as you will connect to the tower with the best signal. Also if it is hilly between you and the tower then you may actually be out of its range. GSM towers can transmit up to 22 miles...

    What is your current phone?

That sucks for your HSPA+ speeds. My 6-8 MB speeds are within the city so I am a lucky one.

    100% agree.

Here is the difference in a speed test from AT&T LTE and their HSPA+ service.

    Nice Christmas Gift from AT&T

Does your iPhone have a bandwidth monitor? If it does mark your usage and then stream for a little bit and see what it uses.

Today yes but come June there may be a new Nexus device for Verizon.

    Possibly looking to switch, MAYBE

If you do go Android then I would really look at the Nexus line if you are wanting to make sure updates keep coming.

    Possibly looking to switch, MAYBE

My wife wanted to look outside of the iPhone and I wish that I would have never let her switch. She is already asking what it would cost to switch back to an iPhone and she still have 1 year before she can get a full discount on the iPhone. If you both have Macs then I think you would be...

    What is your current phone?

Yes and No. It doesn't do LTE but it has HSPA+ which will get you plenty enough speed for the normal uses. I was getting 8MB with other HSPA+ phones.

    What is your current phone?

After having LTE for a month now, I would have to agree with you. I went from around 8MB download to 30MB download with LTE and it really didn't make much of a difference unless I am downloading large apps. I also have been eyeing the Nexus 4 and might just make the purchase for a Christmas...
