Nexstar Media Group's WGN-TV will launch lifestyle show: "Daytime Chicago", Rachael Ray will move to afternoon this fall.

So that means WGN will have news from 4-10am, Daytime Chicago from 10am-11, WGN Afternoon News from 11-1pm. Rachel Ray would be either 1, 2, or 3pm before the afternoon news goes from 4-7pm.

Nick Cannon set up fall 2021!

There's only one Nick Cannon show I want to see. I was unaware some weeks of his NBC show with outrageous videos. Maybe it was online like other NBC series but I kept waiting for reruns which I don't think ever aired.

You'd think a show like that would be popular. Yes, I am referring to reruns of what was on NBC. The tamer and family-friendly Alfonso Ribeiro series has been on more than 30 years.

Figured since DanTheFlash was reporting everything I posted from RadioDiscussions, that I would register, and apparently I already had under this username. This is nelsonfromcharlotte from RadioDiscussions. Appreciate you passing everything along.

It would be great to see some of those shows leave WGN. I am interested to see what the fall lineup is on WGN. I don't know how much longer the syndication deals last for Blackish, Last Man Standing, The Golbergs, and Two and Half Men. Ever since they added the 3 hours of WGN Evening news a handful of years ago, the only real windows in the evening are 7-9. I have not once turned on WGN once Two and Half Men was moved from the 7-8 timeslot to 11:30pm and midnight. WGN used to be my default OTA station - I would turn on as they had great syndication back when that led up to a Bulls/Blackhawks/Cubs/White Sox game. WGN has really gone downhill... will be interesting to see where Young Sheldon ends up (I have to assume it will be on WGN)

I saw this screenshot from Tdog Media on Twitter indicating that The Goldbergs are supposedly starting a second cycle next fall. I think Two and a Half Men is starting a new cycle this fall, and Blackish and Last Man Standing have a few more years.

If The Goldbergs lasts long enough I wonder if it will get extra weekend runs like Big Bang Theory, Modern Family and Two and a Half Men? Maybe the secondary run gets weekend runs too?

Nexstar is the launch group for Young Sheldon so it will be on WGN.

Also it wouldn’t surprise me if The Goldbergs moved from WAXN to WMYT next fall now that WMYT is Nexstar owned. But WMYT already has Two and a Half Men, Schitts, Modern Family, Big Bang plus Young Sheldon coming so it could stay put on WAXN.

If Two and a Half men is starting a new cycle, does that mean it won't be on WGN anymore? And it would be replaced by something else (maybe Young Sheldon?) I can't see Young Sheldon being on at 11:30pm/midnight, which is when the two episodes of Two and a Half Men are airing right now.

WGN currently has black-ish, Last Man Standing, The Golbergs, Two and a Half Men, each at 2 episodes a night, and one episode of Mom a night at 1am and one episode of Friends at 3:30am. I would think something has to give, and Two and a Half Men has been on WGN for over 5 years - I feel like it might even be approaching 10 years on WGN.

I was actually just thinking about this. Looking at their schedule I’m thinking Young Sheldon could take Last Man Standing’s time slot and LMS could move to Two and a Half Men’s place. And I wonder if it could move in Charlotte, even though I have still seen it promoted on WMYT recently.

Megatron81 says:
Dr. Oz moved to 2PM on WXSP because of the Olympics no Inside Edition which I'm surprised that Nexstar didn't move it to WOTV for 1:30AM which is a paid programming. Judge Mathis only run is 5AM will return 2PM time slot Aug 9 second run always been 5AM for a couple of years now.

Makes me wonder if Inside Edition is moving stations in your market, to preempt it entirely.
