22khz switch?

what is this option for ? hope someone can tell me,

You would turn it on only if you use a Universal LNBF, most of the time it sets its self when you choose the "UNIVERSAL" LNBF option in the antenna set up screen!

If you use a standard KU LNBF (10750 L.O.) it should be off!
 
Also there are simple 22khz switches to switch between two different non-universal LNBs connected to their two inputs (each having two physical connections for the two polarities).
 
another option is if you have a huge system. I experimented with 2 dual LNB's and 3 receivers.
Ran all 4 lines to a 4x8 multiswitch (like DirectTV uses)
hooked up receivers
LNB 1 was set to off for 22khz
LNB 2 was set to on for 22Khz

could select any of the 3 receivers to pick either LNB
