I was looking inside of the 411 the other day and noticed that it has a header and connections on the pcb board for the ethernet pins. Has anyone noticed this. I guess they use the same pcb board for both the 411/211 except they didn't put the ethernet port on the 411. It would be easy to solder one on if you had a ViP series receiver to know which pins go where. I'm willing to bet that someone out there will do it. I would do it if I could see pics of the configuration of the pins.

Thanks P. If the software is the same for both then it should work. I don't understand why they even released the 411 if they used a pcb board with a ethernet header and spots for it? Have they released for sure what the ethernet port will be used for? I have a feeling that dish has some up and coming plans for there own verson of broadband that will probably go in sync with the ViP series receivers.
