A kids movie gets interrupted by porn.

I call bunk too, and even if her kids are "imitating" it like she says, which I HIGHLY doubt even a 5 yr old would, they didn't necessarily learn it from something like that, when my 6 yr old gets off the elementary bus the 6th graders in the back are like a bunch of construction workers cat calling at my wife... The little bastards...
I don't think it happened to DISH but it did happen on a number of cable systems over the years. The most memorable being the night of a WWE WrestleMania event where during the show right in the middle of a match the video changed to lets say a woman wrestling a snake... but it wasn't a snake.I hear she got it down for the 1,2,3 count and then poof back to wrestling.
The cable company blamed the issue on a bad video switcher.
Looking at the transponder layout for that channel I still don't see how this was able to happen, I still say its not technically possible.
I'm not saying that's the case in this instance.I am 90% sure there was a complaint against dish yrs ago of a show getting interrupted by adult programming.They issued an apology,it certainly could happen if someone pushes the wrong button.
Never had it record the wrong channel but lately my 722's been recording more repeats of shows where the timer is set to 'new episodes only'.
I don't know... Never had this issue on the 722K but 2 of my Hoppers have recording the completely wrong channel after picking back up a signal after signal loss... It usually only happens when a single sat gets blocked then comes back.
e.g. for a little while I had an issue with a tree limb swinging in front of 110, made it more susceptible to outages during wind, 119, 129 were unaffected, so 110 would go in and out (no pun intended) and then it the Hopper would start recording the wrong channel, ironically on another satellite at the same time that 110 comes BACK. Then when 110 goes out again the recording skips again, and once again when 110 comes back it's recording the wrong channel that's not even on 110. It wasn't porn though, unfortunately .

I think the little boy was playing w/ the remote. Remember in the story he was yelling "I didn't do it" when he ran out of the room. That's the kind of thing a kid yells when he screwed up but doesn't want to take the blame.
The truth will come out in the next bill. If Jr ordered the movie, either on purpose or accident, it will show on the next bill. Then mom and dad will put some kind of lock on the receiver. If it was a technical problem, then it might not show on the bill.
Not if it was Skinemax, which is my guess, Jr. would not be able to quickly get a porn channel.
Kids can be sneaky and some parents are REALLY REALLY blind. I agree the kid probably did it, but mommy's little angel can do no wrong... There are too many parents out there like that.
Now here's the problem with that.The movie was recorded.If the kid changed the channel to one of the 490's recording would have been stopped.He or the mom would then have had to return to the disney channel and restart recording.
