Hi. My friend has a dish pointed to 110/119 and is subbed to Classic Bronze 100 package. I live down his house and dont have clear line of sight for 110/119; I do have clear line of sight for the eastern arc, so I installed a 1000.4 dish pointed to 61.5/72.7. My friend can activate my vip 211 on his account, but will I get the same channels on my dish as he does on his receiver? He has a basic 301 receiver. I am hoping to share the sub so I can save a little. thanks

No if the receiver can't see the proper satellite (authorized or not) it can't pick up what is doesn't see.

I dont have line of sight for 110/119, but I do for easter arc dish (61.5/72.7/77), which mirrors 110/119 channs. Frind has 110/119 with 301 stb sub, I have eastern arc dish. If I activate my VIP with his sub, will my VIP work on eastern arc and get same channs as my friend?

What you are suggesting is theft of service. I know you want to save a few bucks but why should everyone else who is a subscriber subsidize you?

Each person must have their own account. Sharing is not allowed.
