Is anyone else having problems with receiving Montana PBS? This started about a month ago. Using a MicroHD right now I get a Signal Level of 90% and Quality of 53% Looking at the Satellite Meter screen I have only the two left bars showing anything.

Thanks for any input except for someone saying this is not FTA....

Montana PBS had technical difficulties knock them off for a couple of days. When they came back I could not pick it up on my HTPC anymore, but worked ok on both microHDs I have. Not missing it cause it's also 1080i HD and OTA for me here :)

I saw the Symbol Rate was off by one vrs Lyngsat, Set it up one and did a search again on the TP - Came back as CH 1 - no more Montana PBS but works.. OTA is great also but I like MT back roads show.. :)

Just got a call from Montana PBS and he was very helpful, Said they lost the encoder on July 16th and working on a temp one. Thus the reason I am seeing Ch-1. No problem for me. But are going to put the original back on-line soon and would like any input if there are any problems..

I am experiencing occasional video freezes now. Hope they get their encoder back from repair soon.

Pretty common/normal. Doesn't affect reception if within a few %. I.E. 3720 might scan in from 3715 to 3725 or there about.

TP 12106 is only at Q10. Some how the S9 is managing to lock onto it but not consistently. Using 31" Fortec dish with with Avenger PLL321S-2 LNBF. All the other in the clear TPs are Q 50+.

Still getting it ok here, but using a 1.2M offset.

I never could get montana in good.It would always freeze.Signal drop out.I tried many dif lnbs, but nothing seemed to work.
?I just deleted the channel.Gave up.....

I too have video freeze issues on Montana PBS. It's the only channel on 125w that I have issues with. I'm using a meticulously tuned 90cm dish and a micro HD receiver. Had the same problem with an open box s9. Those of you that say you have no issues must be using a larger dish or you are in a better spot in the sat footprint. I'm in Albuquerque, NM BTW.

Using the scrolling signal meter on the micro HD I can have a signal quality of 75 that drops to zero for a sample or two and then it jumps right back up to 75.

I like Montana PBS for the Saturday night Britcoms. But I can't deal with the stuttering video. If a bigger dish will help I'd buy a 1.2 meter dish from SatAV and fix it on 125w. Something tells me that won't fix it though.

I'M using a 1.2M GeosatPro Motorized Dish here and I have no issues at all with Monatana PBS. Time for you to move to a 1.2M Dish. :)

I'm not at home at the moment, but a 1M dish with a PLL LNBF has worked well for me on that channel. But I would like a 1.2M dish, have my eyes on one.

Yup, sure does. I just wish the shipping didn’t cost as much as the dish itself.

Tonight I'm getting a little jitter every now and then. Quality on the MicroHD fluctuating between 39 and 60. Very watchable. 1M round Primestar dish, SL1 PLL lnbf.

I still think they have a problem with the uplink.

Went to watch the Britcoms last night and MPBS showed up as "No Signal." Today, same thing.
