Arrow Season 4: Captain Lance’s Thoughts on Green Arrow Change http://screenrant.com/arrow-season-4-captain-lance-green-arrow/
Though we are only a few episodes into Arrow Season 4, the show has already successfully shifted gears from the unrelentingly grim Season 3, fulfilling their promises of embracing a lighter tone. The focusing has been not only on this new world of magic and mysticism, but on deepening the relationships between the main characters. Last weeks episode ‘Restoration,’ saw the Original Team Arrow back in action, with Oliver and Diggle beginning to mend their fractured friendship.Another key relationship that will be reentering the show’s forefront is that of Oliver and Captain Lance, whose interactions evolved from openly antagonistic into to a grudging truce, and back to acrimonious again. Many things will be changing in the Lance family now that Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) has been resurrected, and we now have more information about how Star City’s police captain will continue to work alongside Oliver. We recently sat down with actor Paul Blackthorne, who plays the gruff Captain Lance on Arrow, and discussed how Lance fared during the months that Oliver was away and the ghosts took over the city. He also emphasizes Lance’s silent support of Oliver running for mayor, as this is the mask-less hero he has always wanted him to be.

Arrow First Look: Constantine Teams Up With Oliver And Co. In New Pics http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...ntine-Teams-Up-With-Oliver-Co-Pics-95577.html
Season 4 of Arrow has gotten off to an exciting start as the show begins to delve into the mystical for the first time. With a magical supervillain in Damien Darhk, Lazarus Pit shenanigans in Nanda Parbat, and a former heroine resurrected without her soul, it’s no surprise that Oliver and Co. will be possessed to call in an expert on the supernatural. John Constantine of short-lived NBC series Constantine will drop in on Team Arrow in the upcoming fifth episode "Haunted." Check out some new images showing us just what the exorcist extraordinaire will be getting up to in his visit to Star City next week! From the looks of things, Constantine won’t exactly be dealing with a group of people accustomed to his brand of fighting evil. In this look at Constantine’s efforts to reunite Sara with her soul, it seems like Oliver will be breaking in his new lair with a séance. Considering that Laurel was the main driving force – or only driving force, really – behind Sara’s resurrection, it’s fitting that she should be in the middle of the flickering flames around the circle. It’s more surprising that Oliver is with her rather than her adjacent father, but as Oliver knew Sara better than anybody, he’s perhaps the most appropriate person to help bring her back.

Arrow Showrunner Shoots Down Popular Fan Theory http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Arrow-Showrunner-Shoots-Down-Popular-Fan-Theory-95477.html
As much as Arrow fans have learned about tech whiz Felicity Smoak over the years, there’s still one mystery surrounding her: the identity of her father. During a recent interview, Emily Bett Rickards mentioned that there are plans to bring her father into the show at some point and that he would be rich and “probably a supervillain.” This led to many fans speculating on if her father is Season 4’s main antagonist Damien Darhk, but as it turns out, that’s not the case. Executive producer and showrunner Wendy Mericle acknowledged that it was a unique idea and a “great teaser” to Comicbook.com, but also said there’s no truth to it. Mericle said:

'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Who Is Constantine? Everything To Know About The NBC Comic Hero Before The Crossover Event http://www.ibtimes.com/arrow-season...-everything-know-about-nbc-comic-hero-2162017
The CW’s “Arrow” has been a fantastic place for crossovers within the DC Comics TV world thanks to shows like “The Flash” and the upcoming “Legends of Tomorrow.” However, its latest crossover event not only introduces the supernatural to Star City, but a character plucked directly from an entirely different network. It was revealed at the 2015 Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour that “Arrow” and the CW would be extending the life of John Constantine (Matt Ryan) just a little bit longer so that the DC Comics character can go on one more adventure with Team Arrow, according to Screen Rant. Ryan previously brought the character to life on the short-lived NBC series “Constantine.” Unfortunately for its close-knit group of fans, the peacock network pulled the plug on the series, but not before “Arrow” lead Stephen Amell professed his desire to guest star on an episode of the NBC supernatural drama as the famous Green Arrow. With Deadline reporting the show was beyond resurrection NBC, “Arrow” producers and DC Comics were able to cut a one-time-only deal that will resurrect John Constantine to help the characters of “Arrow” with their current Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) predicament.

Constantine Visits Arrow: A Surprising Link, Oliver vs. Laurel and More Teasers http://tvline.com/2015/10/30/arrow-constantine-crossover-season-4-spoilers/
What do you do when your recently resurrected ex-girlfriend has turned into a feral killer? Call Constantine, of course!Next Wednesday’s Arrow (The CW, 8/7c) finds Oliver reaching out to his old buddy (played by Matt Ryan) for help, and we’re sharing some teasers after viewing the special crossover installment.First of all, the way that the former NBC player is incorporated into the CW series is surprisingly seamless — and suffice to say, he leaves behind a mark.Read on for scoop on Constantine’s guest spot, Oliver and Laurel’s relationship, a dynamic new duo and more.

One Of Arrow's Biggest Episodes Ever Just Leaked Online http://www.cinemablend.com/television/One-Arrow-Biggest-Episodes-Ever-Just-Leaked-Online-96397.html
If you’ve been keeping tabs on Arrow at all, you probably already know that this week the show is going to get a very special guest star in Matt Ryan, who will reprise his former NBC character John Constantine for the popular CW drama. There has been a lot of buzz around the upcoming performance and people are very excited about Wednesday’s huge outing, but recently news broke that a cut of the Arrow episode “Haunted” has leaked. It should be noted that the episode in question that appeared on piracy sites came from a DVD screener of the episode that the network sent out. In addition to lacking in HD quality, it’s also a rough cut of the episode, which means the episode will not be exactly the same as the one that will hit our televisions on Wednesday night. Warner Bros. Television sends out screeners to critics on occasion to give them early access to episodes in the hopes that various websites, newspapers and magazines will write about the episode. The DVD’s usually comes with an anti-piracy notice/warning, and Torrent Freak reports that is the case with the Constantine set. The very special episode of Arrow appeared on piracy sites on Sunday around 9 p.m. ET. As of this morning at 11:15, Variety reports that only 11,667 people have downloaded the episode, which is good news for Arrow, as I doubt that small amount of the viewing population will negatively effect the overall ratings for the drama this week. We'll have to wait and see, however. While Arrow is a pretty darn popular series for The CW, it’s not nearly as popular in terms of overall viewers as a lot of other shows that have also leaked early, including Game of Thrones episodes and the Supergirl pilot. Scores of people pirated both shows before their initial network airdates and both still managed to crush in the ratings; last week Supergirl ended up bringing in over 16 million total viewers after Live+3 ratings came in. The good news: Leaks don’t always adversely affect the episodes when they air.

'Arrow': Everything You Need to Know About the Big 'Constantine' Crossover https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-everything-know-big-constantine-180000943.html
Comic book nerds, we're about to reach geek nirvana: John Constantine and Oliver Queen are finally coming face to face!Fans of Constantine (R.I.P.) rejoiced when it was officially announced in August that the title character would be dusting off his trench coat and dropping by Arrow to help the team with an important matter of the mystical kind: restoring the soul of the newly resurrected Sara Lance. There's reason to be excited: Matt Ryan, who led NBC's shortlived series for 13 episodes, doesn't miss a beat in this week's episode, reprising his role as the beloved demon hunter."We've weaved in Matt very nicely and the Constantine character in very nicely," Stephen Amell said recently on the set of Arrow, adding that Ryan is "fantastic on the show." "I think that with keeping within the framework of our show, we lend ourselves to the things that make Constantine fun as a character."

'Arrow' Showrunner Answers 5 Big Questions, From Ray Palmer's Return to Olicity 'Complications' https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-showrunner-answers-5-big-020000773.html
Warning: Do not proceed if you haven't watched tonight's Arrow yet! We're serious! It's nice to know Oliver Queen has friends in very high places.John Constantine (Matt Ryan) made a detour to Star City after his old island pal rang him up to help restore the soul of Sara Lance following her ill-timed dip in the Lazarus Pit. Though they accomplished their mission -- albeit with a few unforeseen obstacles -- the door was left open by the end of Wednesday's episode, begging the question: Could the beloved demon hunter eventually return to Arrow?"That's a good question. We had him for this episode -- it was important for this story," Arrow executive producer Wendy Mericle told ETonline. "We always try to link story to the point of the view from the Arrow universe's perspective and from our characters' perspective, so for now, that was it."That's not to say there won't be a future appearance by Constantine, just not in the near future. Even so, there was quite a bit of non-Constantine developments to unpack -- from Felicity discovering that Ray Palmer is indeed alive to Diggle learning the harsh truth about his brother Andy.

3 Big Reasons Constantine Needs To Come Back To Arrow http://www.cinemablend.com/television/3-Big-Reasons-Constantine-Needs-Come-Back-Arrow-97057.html
Warning: lots of spoilers ahead for the fifth episode of Season 4 of Arrow.Season 4 of Arrow has taken audiences in an entirely new direction as the magical and mystical are explored further than we could have ever expected. The fifth episode – fittingly entitled “Haunted” – saw the show kick the mystical shenanigans up a notch by sending Oliver and Laurel on an otherworldly mission to recover Sara’s lost soul. Okay, yes, that sounds pretty ridiculous. Fortunately, there was one aspect of the episode that worked to sell the ridiuclousness of the plot without turning it into something silly. That aspect was John Constantine. Matt Ryan reprised the role of Constantine from his short-lived NBC series Constantine so that he could drop in with some friendly advice for Oliver and a handy soul restoration for Sara. It was no mere cameo; Ryan as Constantine was definitely the highlight of the episode, and his minutes on screen felt all too short. Fortunately, Constantine’s departure from Star City was open-ended, so here are 3 big reasons why Constantine definitely needs to come back to Arrow.

‘Arrow’ EP Teases Constantine’s Arrival, ‘The Flash’ Crossover and Resolution to Season-Premiere Death Shocker https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-ep...lash-crossover-season-premiere-140028707.html
In a rare turn of events, Matt Ryan will reprise his titular character from NBC’s canceled “Constantine” on CW’s “Arrow,” and making it happen was every bit as tricky as you might think.“We always planned to explore mysticism and magic this season [on ‘Arrow’], and we have obviously been huge fans of Constantine as a character and the series, so we really felt we had this opportunity… it just sort of all came together,” showrunner Wendy Mericle told TheWrap. “I’d say it was a combination of some planning on our part and a lot of good luck and serendipity on getting Constantine.”The mysticism and magic on “Arrow” this season has stemmed from the arrival of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), the season’s big villain who openly dabbles in the dark arts.Further enveloping Team Arrow in the world of magic is the return of the Lazarus Pit, which was used — perhaps misguidedly — to bring back Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) from the dead.

"ARROW" RECAP: CONSTANTINE MAKES HIS CW DEBUT IN "HAUNTED" http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/arrow-recap-constantine-makes-his-cw-debut-in-haunted-2015
"Arrow" -- aptly titled "Haunted" -- tied up a lot of loose ends, some that spanned all the way back to season one. Oliver hired a campaign manager, further solidifying his commitment to run for mayor. Felicity and Mr. Terrific cracked Ray's coded message which will set up Team Arrow's quest in next week's episode. Sara went on a bloodthirst-fueled rampage, which led to Oliver discovering her resurrection. Diggle even discovered information about his brother Andy. A lot of ground was covered in this episode, including the introduction of magic, spells, and incantations via special guest John Constantine (Matt Ryan, reprising his role from NBC's cancelled "Constantine"). The best part of tonight's episode was the final act in Sara's redemption, something viewers have been waiting for since she was first killed in the season three premiere back in 2014.First up, Oliver's bid for mayor. By now Oliver (Stephen Amell) has moved into Blood's old offices, and with the help of his sugar mama Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards), he is able to bank roll his campaign. Queen's campaign slogan is "unity" -- a concept not easily grasped in a city that has been continually ravaged by criminal masterminds. Oliver also hires a campaign manager, a young man who urges Oliver to get rid of the skeletons in his closet, namely his friendship with Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). Oliver even considers putting distance between himself and Laurel, in the name of public interest, but Thea encourages him that Laurel is more important than any kind of public image problems he could have. Laurel's connection to Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) is what worries the campaign manager. The clear irony is that Sara's death on the Queen's Gambit is by far the smallest skeleton in Oliver's closet. If anyone did any genuine digging on Oliver's life they would find a lot more than just a shipwreck -- they could uncover Oliver's biggest secret, that he is really the Green Arrow.

‘Arrow’ EP Marc Guggenheim On More ‘Constantine’, ‘Flash’ Crossover & Tattoos https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-ep-marc-guggenheim-more-020003294.html
SPOILER ALERT: This story contains details of tonight’s episode of Arrow..EXCLUSIVE: An old friend of Oliver Queen’s showed up tonight in Star City to help bring a deceased soul back from beyond. With that mix of the mystical and the bow, the introduction of John Constantine to Arrow is yet another reach into the greater DC Universe that the Warner Bros TV-produced show is making. However, unlike the introduction of The Flash and what will soon be the Legends Of Tomorrow, Constantine showing up on Arrow is more of a rebirth. The Alan Moore co-created demon hunting character from the classic Hellblazer comics saw his own NBC series formally cancelled earlier this year after 13-episodes and no traction in the ratings.I spoke with Arrow EP Marc Guggenheim, who developed the CW series with Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg, about tonight’s “Haunted” episode and how they were able to pull it off once they got the corporate green light to bring Constantine back. We also chatted about whether the Hellblazer will be back, his role in the Stephen Amell-played Arrow’s backstory and the leaking of the episode earlier this week. With air dates of December 1 and 2, Guggenheim revealed how this year’s Flash and Arrow crossover is going to be different than the first one and the role Legends will play. And yeah, there’s a certain Dark Knight mentioned too.

Arrow's' 'Haunted' review: Constantine resurrects the fun on the series http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/herocomplex/la-et-hc-arrow-haunted-review-20151103-story.html
Well, that was fun. And desperately needed.Through the first four episodes of its fourth season, "Arrow" simply wasn't working for me. The show had become a bit dreary, a bit crowded and a lot burdened by the task of setting up characters for the "Legends of Tomorrow" spinoff.Sure, Neal McDonough has been pitch-perfect as Damien Darhk, but through five hours of television, I still have no idea why he's in Star City or what he's doing or how he keeps using magic (or the force, or kinesis, or whatever) to terrorize people. The season's A-plot, whatever it may be, had taken a back seat to building up White Canary and the obviously not dead Ray Palmer. Then John Constantine showed up to perform a restoration spell on Sara Lance's soul, injecting some much-needed life into "Arrow" in the process.Matt Ryan's take on the chain-smoking, ever sarcastic Constantine was an adrenaline shot for a series that has become a master class in brooding over the last month. Whether it was his demand for a cigarette on Lian Yu or his offhand remark that the restoration spell would either save Sara's soul or kill everyone standing in the Arrow cave, Constantine's refusal to take everything so damn serious allowed me to enjoy the show while appreciating the gravity of Sara's situation. Previously on "Arrow," I'd been unable to do both.

THE ATOM, SARA LANCE & MORE ARE BACK IN ACTION IN NEW "ARROW" PHOTOS http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...e-more-are-back-in-action-in-new-arrow-photos
At the end of the last "Arrow" episode, Felicity and Curtis (Echo Kellum) discovered that Ray (Brandon Routh) was alive. Now, in "Lost Souls," Felicity will do anything she can to get him back. As it turns out, Ray is in Damien Darhk's clutches, so Team Arrow is going to need everyone they can for this mission -- including the recently restored Sara Lance (Caity Lotz).

Arrow Quietly Took A Shot At NBC During The Constantine Episode http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...hot-NBC-During-Constantine-Episode-97227.html
It’s no secret that many fans are still sore at NBC for canceling Constantine earlier this year after only one season. Once the series was off the air, it seemed that it spelled the permanent end for actor Matt Ryan’s iteration of the DC magical con man. Fortunately for Constantine fans, Ryan reprised the role in last night’s Arrow episode “Haunted,” and while in Star City, the chain-smoking occultist used the opportunity to take a shot at his former TV home, NBC. Spoilers for last Arrow episode are ahead! To refresh everyone’s memory, Oliver called in John Constantine to help the recently resurrected Sara Lance by restoring her soul to her body. Beyond his ancient spells, he needed a few special ingredients to get the job done. Felicity came back with the objects, which included a dead peacock feather. Like the audience, she questioned how the feather would be useful.

The Atom Returns In New Images From Next Week’s Episode Of Arrow http://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/atom-returns-images-weeks-episode-arrow/
In all honesty, there hasn’t really been a lot of suspense around the return of Brandon Routh’s Ray Palmer in season four of Arrow. While the season three finale made it appear as if he had died, we knew even back then that The Atom would have a leading role in DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, so a return in Arrow was only really ever going to be a matter of time.Despite that, it’s still hard not to be excited about the learning how the fan-favourite character survived and ended up in the clutches of Damien Darhk. Next week’s episode of Arrow promises to answer that, and while a recently released promo teased The Atom’s return, we actually get to see him in the gallery of images above. For more, here’s a synopsis of the episode, which is titled “Lost Souls”:

I realize that many here are hooked on this but the show just does not hold my attention any more and I am just not interested in many of the characters.

Arrow/Flash Crossover 'Team Photo' Revealed — Who All Made the Cut? http://tvline.com/2015/11/10/arrow-flash-crossover-hawkman-hawkgirl/
This winter’s Arrow/Flash (aka #Flarrow) crossover event will be more super than ever, as seen in the “team photo” shared on Twitter by executive producer Marc Guggenheim.Airing Tuesday, Dec. 1 and Wednesday, Dec. 2, this year’s Flash/Arrow mash-up will fold in both Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl and Carter Hall/Hawkman (played by Ciara Renee and Falk Hentschel), who are fated to segue over to The CW’s DC’s Legends of Tomorrow spinoff series at midseasonRenee’s Kendra Saunders thus far has appeared twice on The Flash, in its Season 1 finale and somewhat more prominently in the Nov. 3 episode.Joining Renee and Hetschel on Legends of Tomorrow will be Brandon Routh (Arrow‘s Ray/The Atom), Caity Lotz (as Sara Lance/White Canary), Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell (as Captain Cold and Heat Wave), The Flash‘s Victor Garber, newcomer Franz Drameh and Doctor Who alum Arthur Darvill (as time traveler Rip Hunter).

Slade Isn't The Only Wilson Who Will Terrorize Arrow http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Slade-Isn-t-Wilson-Who-Terrorize-Arrow-98117.html
Arrow has brought in a gallery's worth of terrifying supervillains so far, but none have been as downright chilling as former friend turned psychotic enemy Slade Wilson. While actor Manu Bennett has left the show, star Stephen Amell surprised the audience at the Wizard World Comic Con in Louisville by sharing a tantalizing tease that Slade’s influence is not altogether lost for the future of the series. Here’s what Amell had to say:

Arrow postmortem: Get the scoop on that abrupt exit http://www.ew.com/article/2015/11/11/arrow-sara-exit-legends-tomorrow-spoilers
[Warning: This story contains spoilers from Wednesday’s episode of Arrow. Read at your own risk!]We all knew Sara would be leaving for the Arrow-Flash spin-off DC’s Legends of Tomorrow eventually, but her exit came much sooner than expected during Wednesday’s episode of Arrow. After succumbing to the bloodlust caused by the Lazarus Pits and killing a man during the mission to save Ray (Brandon Routh), Sara (Caity Lotz) decidedly thanked Laurel (Katie Cassidy) for giving her the ability to start over — and then did just that by leaving Star City behind.“Sara is grappling with these really big issues,” executive producer Wendy Mericle tells EW. “She’s still going to have the bloodlust and these issues to deal with, so she’s got to go find a different way of handling it. The way that Thea [Willa Holland] has chosen to deal with hers is not going to work for Sara.

Arrow Is Bringing Back A Dead Character http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Arrow-Bringing-Back-Dead-Character-98537.html
John Diggle learned in Arrow Season 2 that H.I.V.E. was the organization that hired Deadshot to kill his brother, but since then, he’s been in the dark about the reasons why Andy was murdered. That changed last week when Quentin Lance discovered that while Andy was in Afghanistan, his shady dealings apparently were getting in the way of H.I.V.E.’s operations, thus necessitating his assassination. Needless to say Diggle was heartbroken to learn this, but there’s more to this story than meets the eye. Later on in Season 4, fans will find out what Andy was up to during that time, and that means actually seeing him in person. While talking about Diggle grieving over both why his brother was killed and the “idea” of who his brother really was, executive producer Wendy Mericle informed EW that we’ll get to see Andy again in flashbacks. WHAT WAS THAT BOX DAMIEN DARHK OPENED ON "ARROW"? http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/unboxing-arrows-new-damien-darhk-mystery
SPOILER WARNING: This article contains spoilers for last night's episode of "Arrow," "Lost Souls."When last night's "Arrow" came to an end, one question was in the forefront of fans' minds: What in the world is that thing Damien Darhk (played by Neal McDonough) unfolded?Damien Darhk opens up a new mystery on "Arrow."Some online speculation leaned towards it being the Arrowverse version of a Mother Box, an iconic piece of DC Comics technology. However, as the Mother Box is traditionally a device used by the citizens of New Genesis, a benevolent society of super-powered beings known as the New Gods, a group of Redditors have been debating the theory that it may be a Father Box, the version of the sentient tech developed by Apokolips' ruler, the evil Darkseid. When reached by CBR, Warner Bros. TV declined comment on the matter.Yet the box Darhk unfolds bears little resemblance to the version Jack Kirby created in the comics, or any iteration used since its introduction. Darkh's box unfolds, for starters, revealing a rather intricate pattern. And though the unfolded box displayed interior patterns not dissimilar to Kirby's Mother Box designs, it's just as easy to see a more structured mathematical layout -- including a number of hexagons which, in the comics, is the geometric shape of choice for H.I.V.E., Darkh's group.

Arrow/The Flash Stars Preview 'Bigger, Crazier' Crossover Event — Plus: Who's MIA? Which Reunion Didn't Happen? https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-flash-stars-preview-bigger-203714870.html
The CW’s Arrow and The Flash are going all-out for their second major crossover event (airing Dec. 1 and 2), which will launch the midseason spinoff DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, and the efforts are earning high praise from their respective stars.“These two crossover episodes standing together will probably be, in my mind, the pinnacle achievement for both shows,” Arrow leading man Stephen Amell raved during a set visit last month.“It feels even bigger,” The Flash‘s Grant Gustin adds. “I feel like more people are a part of it this year from both sides, and we’re tying in Legends, obviously, so it’s just bigger.” Or as his co-star Danielle Panabaker sums it up: “It’s crazier. It’s nuts, but it’s great.”Here’s what else we know about the superhero-filled episodes:

Arrow scoop: David Ramsey talks Andy twist http://www.ew.com/article/2015/11/17/arrow-david-ramsey-diggle-andy-alive-spoilers
We warned you that Andy was going to be returning to Arrow — we just didn’t say how.“We’ll definitely be seeing Andy coming up in future episodes and we’ll get some pretty shocking answers about what happened to him,” executive producer Wendy Mericle recently told EW. According to the promo for this week’s episode, what happened to Andy (Eugene Byrd) is that he’s apparently still alive, but under the control of Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough).A few episodes prior, John Diggle (David Ramsey) was given evidence that his brother’s shady deeds were what got him killed, which has only affirmed his passion in wanting to take down Damien Darhk and H.I.V.E. “There’s more than one reason that he obviously has to get to the bottom of what’s going on with H.I.V.E.,” Ramsey says. “There has to be a finishing through-line to this Andy-Diggle story, which has really been [going on] since season 1, and finding out what his involvement was with H.I.V.E. really adds fuel to the fire in terms of him getting to the bottom of it.”What you’re going to learn about Diggle is just how much he is committed, how much this team has become his family,” Ramsey continues. “That idea is going to be repeated through each character — through Oliver, through Felicity, through Diggle — that this is the family.”

Will Arrow Sport His Iconic Look After All? http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Arrow-Sport-His-Iconic-Look-All-99777.html
For a show about DC’s Green Arrow, Arrow has most certainly taken its sweet time getting Oliver Queen to a place where true Emerald Archer fans would recognize him. Earlier seasons of the show – while excellent television – skirted many key elements to Oliver’s characterization that have only recently begun to rear their heads – such as his whimsical sense of humor, Star City, and even the title of “Green Arrow.” Now it seems that The CW character may soon adopt one of the most iconic elements of his source material: a goatee. On his Twitter page, Stephen Amell opened up a series of tweets concerning a certain element of Green Arrow’s character and how it could be incorporated into the show:

The Flash/Arrow Crossover Trailer Looks Action-Packed And Amazing http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...railer-Looks-Action-Packed-Amazing-99807.html
Tonight’s episode of The Flash featured quite a few great moments, from Grodd smacking people around to a clear shot of Kendra’s Hawkgirl suit. But the most exciting part of the episode actually came after the final scene, as it was our character-filled first look at the upcoming crossover episode between Flash and Arrow, which is running with the tagline “Heroes Join Forces.” Check it out! That was basically everything I wanted out of a crossover episode preview, although I admittedly haven’t carved out any concrete expectations just yet. I mean, sure it could have been like 5 minutes longer and given us loads more great footage, but that might be asking too much. As it is, we got to see almost everything that the two shows will introduce to lead up to the spinoff Legends of Tomorrow, and it all comes from one episode! Perhaps most importantly here, we get to see Vandal Savage being an immortal blade-throwing badass. I’m so pumped to see Casper Crump in the role, and even though he’s only on screen for a few seconds here, he looks like he’ll bring the pain quite effectively. We also get to see Kendra “Hawkgirl” Saunders talking to Carter “Hawkman” Hall, and while we don’t get to see the entirety of the Hawkman suit, we do get another look at Hawkgirl’s massive wingspan. That appears to be a pretty intense moment in the episode, as she seems to be roused form unconsciousness as she’s falling from a building. That’s definitely a good time to have wings, I’d say. There’s a bit where Hawkman is chained up, and Barry looks none too happy to be talking to him, but that’ll surely clear itself up at some point. Since it’s a promo for the crossover, we get to see lots of other familiar faces from both Flash and Arrow. We get to see Felicity, as well as Team Arrow’s Speedy, Diggle and Black Canary, although the White Canary isn’t around just yet. From Flash’s side of things, we get Cisco and…well, just Cisco. (We know Iris isn’t going to be around.) Wells is going to be there as well, although he didn’t show up here. And then there are the “other” things that happen, like Flash running away from that massive blue wave, which looks pretty badass. And then there’s that huge rock heading towards that town between the pyramids, which likely ties into the Hawkpeople stories. All in all, this looks like it could easily be one of the most exciting episodes of The Flash yet.
The Flash - Episode 2x08: Legends of Today Promo #1 (HD) Crossover Event.....PART ONE OF THE EPIC CROSSOVER WITH “ARROW” — In its second major crossover event with “Arrow,” Vandal Savage (guest star Casper Crump) arrives in Central City and sets his sights on Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée). After Vandal attacks Kendra and Cisco (Carlos Valdes), they turn to Barry (Grant Gustin) for help. Realizing how dangerous Vandal is, Barry takes Kendra to Star City and asks Oliver and team to hide her until he can figure out how to stop Vandal. However, things quickly go from bad to worse when a man with wings AKA Hawkman (guest star Falk Hentschel) shows up and flies off with Kendra. Meanwhile, Harrison (Tom Cavanagh) develops a serum to make Barry run faster and asks Jay (guest star Teddy Sears) to test it out. Ralph Hemecker directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#208). Original airdate 12/1/2015......

Arrow Recap: Brother Grim — Plus: Who Is Immune to Damien Darhk? https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-recap-brother-grim-plus-025136202.html
Fight coordinator-turned-first-time Arrow director James Bamford was being humble, obviously, when dismissing the notion that this week’s episode was anything special in the action and stunts arena.Because between the extended scuffle amid the cargo containers, Laurel’s badass infiltration of the looney bin and the Thea-vs.-Andy sequence that tumbled in and out of an elevator, to name but a few moments, this episode delivered a flurry of fierce fights as well as some weighty character moments.Setting things in motion, of course, was Diggle’s discovery that one of the “ghosts” they went up against in the course of stealing a MacGuffin from a biotech company is his “dead” brother Andy. But where you might expect John to be thrilled by this news, he cannot shake the fact that, per the file from Darhk, Andy had been involved in some super-shady stuff before his “death.” Oliver, and later Laurel, do their best to cue Diggle to see the positives here, but he is headstrong in refusing to give Andy the benefit of the doubt.

The CW has released the plot synopsis for the "Arrow" midseason finale, "Dark Waters," and it looks like Oliver (Stephen Amell) is taking the fight to HIVE -- though that may not be the best idea, as it's said Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) will retaliate in a "brutal manner" at Oliver's holiday party. Sounds like a very unhappy holiday season for Team Arrow -- here's the official description:

'Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice' Trailer Debut Penalizes 'Arrow' Fans http://www.forbes.com/sites/scottme...-fans/?utm_campaign=yahootix&partner=yahootix
Well, the Monday night Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice reveal was something of a tease. Instead of a third trailer, we got a 50-second clip, half of which was comprised of studio logos, credits and the like. I’m assuming if you’re reading this article that you saw the brief bit where a captured Batman is chained up and then angrily unmasked by a very upset Superman. That may or may not be a dream sequence; I hope it’s not since the imagery (Batman wearing a trenchcoat in the desert, Superman walking through a line of kneeling cult-like followers) is among the more overtly comic book-y stuff we’ve seen thus far. It would be ironic if this whole “grimdark” approach pushed the Zack Snyder picture into something approaching camp, but that’s a conversation for another day.

'Arrow': The Big Problem with Oliver's Son http://www.buddytv.com/articles/arrow/arrow-the-big-problem-with-oli-58242.aspx
For the most part, The Flash and Arrow crossover was strong, The craziness and stakes got dialed up to eleven. It was a great showcase for both Oliver and Barry. It showed the depth of the friendship that has grown between the two heroes. "Legends of Today" and "Legends of Yesterday" were just a lot of fun even if both episodes were really just more set up for the new spin-off series Legends of Tomorrow. There was just one big mistake. (Well, two if you count Carter being the whitest man alive and playing an ancient prince of Egypt -- and you should.) For all the positives of the Flash and Arrow crossover there was a major misstep involving Oliver's story with his newly discovered son, William. The fault lies not just in "Legends of Yesterday" and how William was introduced, but how the inclusion of William's existence will negatively effect things moving forward on Arrow.
