Green Lantern To Appear In ‘Arrow’ Season 4? Executive Producer Shows Off Coast City Production Art http://www.idigitaltimes.com/green-...e-producer-shows-coast-city-production-470852
Arrow season 4 is set to premiere Wednesday, Oct. 7 and it’s expected to be a huge season with new characters -- like Constantine -- and returning characters popping up, Star(ling) City will welcome Oliver Queen back after his time off.But while the reason for Ollie’s return to Star City is still a mystery, we do know that He and Felicity were heading to Coast City. And fans of DC Comics know that Coast City is the hometown of hero, Hal Jordan AKA the Green Lantern. But while Green Lantern has continually been teased in prior season of Arrow and even on The Flash , those behind the hit CW show have continually denied that they will be bringing on Green Lantern into the DC Comics television universe.Well, in a new case of teasing/hinting or even possibly trolling Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim tweeted out some production art showing off Coast City’s banner with a very familiar tagline.Check it out.

'Arrow' writer hints another GREEN hero will appear next season https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-writer-hints-another-green-214000620.html
Ah, Coast City. The DC universe’s answer to Los Angeles and/or any seaside metropolis in the Sunshine State! Oh, and home of Hal Jordan. Perhaps less well known to the general populace than Metropolis or Gotham (or Starling City at this point), Coast City has none the less played a central role in the lore throughout the years. Now it looks like Coast City will be joining the DCTV universe in the flesh…or whatever the city equivalent of the phrase “in the flesh” is. “Arrow” and “Legends of Tomorrow” writer Marc Guggenheim recently tweeted a link to a piece of production art from the upcoming 4th season of “Arrow.” Sure, Coast City has been mentioned in passing on the show before, but this is the first indication that audiences might visit the scenic metropolis.Of course, you can’t have Coast City without Green Lantern. Based solely on the tagline for this billboard, it looks like Hal Jordan may be in Oliver Queen’s future. But which Coast City will Oliver find?

Does Arrow's Season 4 Poster Earn 'Higher' Marks Than Last Year's? https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/does-arrows-season-4-poster-175511181.html
Oliver Queen’s alter ego will “Aim Higher” in Season 4, as declared by the poster heralding Arrow‘s (and the Arrow’s) return.Showrunner Marc Guggenheim told TVLine that what brings Oliver back to Starling City from his and Felicity’s idyllic escapade is “complicated,” seeing as “he’s really happy — and ‘happy Oliver’ is not something we see very often.” Adds the EP, “There’s an obvious call to duty, but it’s surprising, too, because the way he handles his return is different from what we’ve seen in the past.”What do you think of Arrow’s “higher” calling? And can we unanimously agree that Season 4’s poster (which is a tweaked version of the first new costume reveal) nonetheless eclipses Season 3’s “group walk”?

Arrow First Look: Diggle Suits Up! https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-first-look-diggle-suits-211547207.html
What’s the word we’re looking for? Oh, yeah — finally.Arrow‘s righthand man, John Diggle (played by David Ramsey), at long last has some cool costuming of his own, to debut in the CW hit’s Season 4 premiere (airing Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8/7c).In explaining the helmet’s origin, showrunner Marc Guggenheim said at Comic-Con this summer, “One of the things that we started to feel last year… is Diggle’s got a wife [and] daughter. So if he’s going out there surrounded by people in masks and he’s John Diggle, that’s not the greatest idea on his part.”

First Trailer And Synopsis For Arrow Season 4 http://wegotthiscovered.com/tv/trailer-synopsis-arrow-season-4/
The first official trailer for the fourth season of The CW’s Arrow has been released via Stephen Amell’s (Oliver Queen) Facebook page, and there’s a lot packed into it.Not only do we get a glimpse of Ollie living the good (and safe) life with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards), but we get an idea of what brings him back to Star City courtesy of first looks at villains such as Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) and Anarky (Alexander Calvert).Aside from that, we see Diggle suited up in that much-maligned costume, and a few snippets of some new allies for team Arrow: Echo Kellum as Mr. Terrific, and Matt Ryan as none other than John Constantine, who has been given a new lease of life after having his own TV show cancelled.Along with the trailer, The CW has also released this season synopsis:

‘Arrow’ Season 4 Trailer Previews Constantine, Damien Darhk and Mr. Terrific https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-season-4-trailer-previews-constantine-damien-darhk-222448359.html
The CW has unveiled the first trailer for “Arrow” season four, complete with a new-look costume for Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and plenty of fresh faces.Fans of NBC’s shortlived “Constantine” can get a glimpse of Matt Ryan reprising his titular role as the occult detective in the new footage, along with first looks at DC Comics characters Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum) and Anarky (Alexander Calvert). The footage opens with a thoroughly domesticated Oliver, who seems determined to give up the vigilante life to focus on his relationship with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). But things never stay quiet for long in Starling City — newly renamed Star City (as the locale is known in DC’s Green Arrow comics) in memory of Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), who is believed to be dead following an explosion at his company in the season finale. The trailer also features the return of Caity Lotz’s Sara Lance, who is seen emerging from a Lazarus Pit to take up the mantle of White Canary, just in time for “Arrow” and “The Flash” spinoff series “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” which bows at midseason.“Arrow” season four returns at 8 p.m. on Oct. 7 on The CW.

At Long Last, Diggle Gets the Costume We've Been Waiting for on Arrow https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/long-last-diggle-gets-costume-weve-waiting-arrow-000114895.html

The new costume -- complete with a Magneto-style helmet (masks are so passé) -- will make its debut in the season premiere. Here's the new outfit. But don't get too excited that the new costume means he's getting additional superhero trappings. The Constantine series may be dead, but the chain-smoking occultist isn’t out of the TV game yet. Matt Ryan will be reprising John Constantine in Episode 5, titled “Haunted.” Further delving into Season 4’s exploration of magic, he will arrive in Star City to help Team Arrow deal with the consequences of Sara Lance being revived in the Lazarus Pit (more on that later). After all, arrows aren’t always enough to solve unusual problems like these.

‘Arrow’ Season 4 Trailer: Oliver Queen Leaves Starling City Behind https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/arrow-season-4-trailer-oliver-230939853.html
We’re getting a look at a new extended trailer for the upcoming Season 4 of Arrow that was released today at Dragon Con.It gives us some of the first clues as to what happens to Oliver Queen after he leaves Starling City behind and a glimpse of some of the new cast members that will be featured this season: Neal McDonough as Damian Dahrk, Echo Kellum (Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific), Parker Young, Jeri Ryan, Matt Ryan reprising his NBC role as Constantine, Alexander Calver and Elysia Rotaru. Yesterday we got a first look of David Ramsey (John Diggle) in his new costume. Returning for Season 4 are stars Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, Willa Holland and Paul Blackthorne.Arrow returns at 8 PM Wednesday, October 7, on The CW. Check out the trailer above and let us know what you think.

Arrow Season 4: First Look At Lady Cop http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Arrow-Season-4-First-Look-Lady-Cop-83677.html
With the fourth season of Arrow only a month away, fans have plenty to get excited about. Stephen Amell premiered his new Green Arrow persona at this year’s San Diego Comic- Con, and yesterday’s first official Season 4 trailer gave us a well-rounded look at the show’s ever-growing ensemble. Now, a new photo has hit the internet showcasing a new addition to the cast: Rutina Wesley (True Blood) as Liza Warner AKA Lady Cop.In an image released via director Lexi Alexander's Twitter account, Wesley appears in full Lady Cop garb, standing like an all-around badass outside the driver side of a police S.W.A.T van. Despite her diminutive stature, her outfit gives her an imposing, tactical appearance; it invokes the classic 1980’s film Robocop, in that things have likely gotten so out of hand that the police force has become militarized. This makes a great deal of sense, considering things would have to get pretty bad to bring Oliver Queen out of retirement and back to his old vigilante ways. Perhaps the most notable takeaway from the photo is the patch on her tactical vest, which reads “Star City,” as opposed to the show’s traditional “Starling City” – bringing the show more in line with the comic book origins.

8 Surprises From the Arrow Season 4 Trailer http://www.vulture.com/2015/09/arrow-trailer-surprises.html#
On Friday, the CW released a two-minute trailer for season four of Arrow (premiering October 7), the series that inspired the channel’s recent wave of superhero properties (The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow). At the end of last season, Oliver Queen a.k.a. the Arrow retired from vigilante life and literally drove off into the sunset with his computer-expert love, Felicity Smoak, leaving behind his partners to watch over Starling City (now Star City). But, of course, when the Arrow’s away, the villains will play. Here are eight things about the new season we learned from the trailer.

Forget Ms. Marvel, Stephen Amell Really Wants Ronda Rousey On Arrow http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...ll-Really-Wants-Ronda-Rousey-Arrow-84037.html
UFC champion Ronda Rousey is one of the most popular athletes in the world right now, despite the fact that she’s only been seen actually competing in the octagon for less than a half-hour in total, and people want to see more of her in other entertainment realms. Unsurprisingly, her badass nature has led many to champion her for roles in superhero projects, such as playing Captain Marvel, and now Arrow’s Stephen Amell and his co-stars have made it clear that they want Rousey to join their show, though Amell might be interested in more than that. Rawr and whatnot.Members of the Arrow cast were on-hand during Dragon Con this past weekend, and the Q&A session saw one audience member telling those onstage that Rousey “ships Olicity,” which got everyone excited. (Amell even blurted out “I ship Rousey,” as a response.) When Amell was asked if there was a chance that the Furious 7 co-star could ever appear on Arrow, here’s how he answered.

Arrow Season 4 Images Offer Better Look At Diggle’s New Costume http://screenrant.com/arrow-season-4-images-diggle-costume/
The CW’s Arrow has arguably produced some of the best comic book based costumes ever put on TV. Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) original Arrow suit — as well as his upcoming Green Arrow outfit — honor the green garbed superhero, and Manu Bennet’s Deathstroke outfit proved both faithful and practical when it debuted in Season 2. However, not all costumes produced by the show have been a home run; last week, an image of John Diggle’s (David Ramsey) season four outfit hit the internet, and the reaction was mixed to say the least. Many feel Diggle’s helmet (see above) bears too much similarity to X-Men‘s Magneto, while other merely feel it looks ridiculous when compared to the charcaters typically grounded garments. Diggle and his costume can be glimpsed in action in the newly-released Arrow season four trailer, and we now have additional images that offer a better still look at the character and his crime-fighting gear. The new pictures (via DC Comics) offer a better sense of what Diggle’s Arrow season four look is about. As a whole, Diggle’s costume seems to take his typical attire and weapons from previous seasons — jackets, ski masks, handguns — and militarizes it. He now has a utility belt and tactical vest that likely allows him to carry much more equipment and ammunition in the field, and an urban camouflage color scheme that will allow him to be much more stealthy than in prior outings.See for yourselves, below:

Katie Cassidy Talks ‘Arrow’ Season 4, Black Canary, and More at Dragon Con 2015 http://collider.com/katie-cassidy-talks-arrow-season-4-and-black-canary-at-dragoncon/
Currently shooting episodes for season four of Arrow in Vancouver, Katie Cassidy flew to Atlanta this weekend in order to attend Dragon Con 2015. After an early morning training session, she graciously stopped by to chat with a group of journalists about the upcoming season before attending a fan panel.Cassidy’s character Laurel Lance has been run through a gauntlet of emotionally traumatic events over the show’s previous three seasons, but now feels like a character in control of her destiny thanks to her taking on the mantle of the Black Canary. Cassidy talked about the transformation into the vigilante, the possibility that viewers will see her reunited with White Canary in on-screen fight scenes, and other potential cross-overs in the DC TV Universe. See what she had to say below.Laurel Lance finally got to join the street-fighting team in earnest last season, but her skills have obviously improved heading into Season 4. When asked if she had a chance to train with guest star, and Legends of Tomorrow lead, Caity Lotz, Cassidy had an interesting response:

‘Arrow’ Season 4: What We Learned From the Trailer http://www.cheatsheet.com/entertain...rom-the-trailer.html/?a=viewall#ixzz3lCZdciCs
As we quickly approach Fall, we also start to see the early trailers for the TV shows that follow. Once we start getting into the meat of late September/early October, suddenly we’ll find ourselves with almost too much to watch. Among other premieres hitting the airwaves during that inevitable tidal wave of television, we have Arrow, debuting October 7 on the CW. Over its three season run, the show has gone through something of a metamorphosis, as its titular hero has gone from cold-blooded killer, to retired superhero. Season 3 saw the Arrow quite literally drive off into the sunset for a happy ending, but we of course all knew this wasn’t going to last long.Season 4’s trailer has officially arrived to tell us just how Oliver Queen’s happy life as an ex-vigilante will come crashing down around him. As much as we all want to see our favorite characters living happy lives, that fairytale ending doesn’t make for good television. With that, it appears as though the Arrow will be getting back into the superhero game to combat an enemy unlike any he’s ever seen before. Here’s what we caught in the 3-minute spot:

Arrow Season 4 Promo: Damien Darhk Hunts Green Arrow http://screenrant.com/arrow-season-4-promo-damien-darhk/
Arrow season 4 may prove divisive for longtime fans of The CW superhero show, as the series’ increased focus on “magic and mysticism” is sure to mark a noticeably more supernatural take on this particular DC universe. Until then, the tale of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and his costumed friends has leaned far more on the grounded side of the superhero spectrum, especially when compared to its sister show, The Flash. The introduction of characters like Matt Ryan’s John Constantine and the resurrection of Sarah Lance (Caity Lotz) should blur that line even further. The latest promo released for the upcoming season of Arrow offers another further proof of just that. The CW released the above new footage for Arrow‘s upcoming batch of episodes, and while the clear name-drop of “Green Arrow” will certainly be fun for fans (who’ve watched Oliver evolve more into his comic book alter-ego), the real revelation comes from Neal McDonough’s Damien Darhk. The character – who’s been described as “pure evil” by the producers behind the show – is searching for Green Arrow and appears to be on a mission to take him down. Moreover, he shows off some nifty powers that extend, at the very least, to some version of telekinesis.

New Arrow trailer shows Oliver planning to... propose?! http://www.ew.com/article/2015/09/10/arrow-season-4-trailer-proposal
The Arrow producers weren’t kidding when they said Oliver Queen would return a much happier hero.In a new trailer for the upcoming fourth season, Oliver (Stephen Amell) appears to be slipping an engagement ring into a cupcake for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) before the duo’s domesticity is interrupted by the arrival of Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Thea (Willa Holland).Check out the trailer for some new footage, which includes Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) seemingly showing off mystical powers:

How Arrow Will Address Green Lantern In The Premiere http://www.cinemablend.com/television/How-Arrow-Address-Green-Lantern-Premiere-84657.html
When we last left flashback Oliver Queen in the Arrow Season 3 finale, he was still in Hong Kong about to board a boat going to Coast City, the hometown of the Silver Age Green Lantern Hal Jordan. When Season 4 kicks off, fans will catch up with Oliver in the past as he explores this other DC metropolis, and while we won’t see Hal anytime soon in this DC TV universe, rest assured that Arrow will have some major Green Lantern Easter Eggs when the season kicks off. Fans should specifically keep an eye out for certain advertising and possibly even a specific piece of jewelry. While going over what flashback Oliver will be facing in Coast City, executive producer Marc Guggenheim informed EW that the Arrow Season 4 premiere will include fun nods to DC’s famous ring-slinger. According to Guggenheim:

"Arrow" EP Marc Guggenheim Reveals Laurel's Connection to Sara Lance's Resurrection http://www.comicbookresources.com/a...aurels-connection-to-sara-lances-resurrection
"Arrow" executive producer Marc Guggenheim offered more insight on how Sara Lance will return to the living, Coast City, Oliver's legacy, Thea's secret identity and more during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.“[Sara's resurrection] very much comes about because of decisions that Laurel makes and choices that Laurel will then have to live with," Guggenheim revealed. "The episodes dealing with Sara's return are amongst probably the heaviest material that we've had for Laurel. We’re using Sara's return to really get underneath not just Laurel as a person, but the relationship that she has with Thea and the friendship that she has with Oliver."Guggenheim also teased more Green Lantern mythology, though he refused to make any confirmations: "There is a nod or two... There is a billboard that people will get a kick out of, and there may or may not be a ring in the season premiere." He did not, however, specify what color ring we may see in the upcoming season, if there is one at all.He weighed in on how Team Arrow will manage to convince Oliver Queen to return as the Arrow, saying, "We're gonna learn that this villain [Damien Darhk] has been operating in town for the past three months... Team Arrow has basically been trying to keep [him] at bay, but then something happens in the season premiere that's the straw that breaks the camel's back and it prompts Laurel and Thea to go find Oliver and get him to return."

Manu Bennett, actor in 'Hobbit' and 'Arrow,' charged with assault in Texas http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/14/enter...ennett-arrest-feat/index.html?eref=rss_latest
An actor known for playing villains on the screen was arrested early Sunday morning.Manu Bennett, who antagonized Bilbo Baggins in "The Hobbit" trilogy and Oliver Queen in "Arrow," was charged with misdemeanor assault in San Antonio, Texas.Bennett was a guest at the Alamo City Comic Con over the weekend. He was released just before 1 p.m. Sunday.Bennett portrayed Azog in the recent "Hobbit" films via motion capture. He was also the main villain, Deathstroke, in the second season of the hit TV series "Arrow."CNN reached out to Bennett's publicist and lawyers but had not received a comment by Monday evening.

Constantine's Appearance On Arrow Is So Much More Than Just A Cameo http://www.cinemablend.com/televisi...Arrow-So-Much-More-Than-Just-Cameo-85357.html
Despite his TV series getting cancelled after only one season, John Constantine is getting a second chance at television during Arrow Season 4. Matt Ryan will reprise his role in the episode “Haunted,” and fans caught a quick glimpse of him snuffing out one of his trademark cigarettes in the Season 4 trailer. Although he’s only confirmed for one episode, Constantine’s inclusion on the hit CW series shouldn’t be looked at as a mere cameo. On the contrary, executive producer March Guggenheim says it will be a major role for the chain-smoking occultist.Guggenheim made it clear to SuperheroHype that Constantine’s Arrow appearance not only won’t feel forced, but that he’ll fit well in this DC TV universe. As Guggenheim explained:
