Nexus 7 form factor (they build the Nexus 7 for Google) with phone capability (international market). It's unknown whether or not this will make it to the US with phone capability.

Also from Phandroid:
Asus FonePad hands on

They are also continuing their lineup with the FonePad infinity -- 5" display which can also drive a 10" 1080p tablet. I love this concept and wish more manufacturers would embrace this concept.

Here we go again:
PadFone Infinity/

What is needed on the market is one little device that has your CPU then it can transmit data from/to your devices such as TV, monitor, phone, auto via wirelessly or hardwired. This would prevent you from needing to replace a whole device if it were to need upgrading or replaced, lowering the cost and sharing the data among devices.

There isn't enough money for device manufacturers with your suggestion.

It's a great one, but because of the above it probably won't see the light of day.
